Have to say though, she should have stopped at the point where she wished him well (slightly paraphrasing here) and not ruined it for herself by launching into a tirade of childish spite. She has done herself no favours here.

If, as she has said, that things weren't good between her and Sam and now she has found someone that treats her with the respect that she has never had, then any so-called 'cashing in' by Sam is/should be irrelevant... she should focus on what she says she has found in Jeremy and not what she has left behind in Sam. Present happiness is all too often ruined by revisiting the sadness of the past...

Yes agreed. But as I have argued on another couple of threads what she said right at the end there was manufactured.

It was in response to the "press" saying to her Sam was "CASHING IN" on what had happened in the house.
