You are correct, but not the full story. The thread has become confused between two separate matters.

1) Steph called Sam a "knob ed" right at the end AFTER one of the "press" said he had been "CASHING IN" on what had happened in the house (this was obviously bound to create some kind of reaction in Steph)
2) Steph then asked Megan about Jeremy when she said "Who was he with?" when he had been out and about - in a totally separate instance

Completely agree... she acts first and then regrets it once the dusts settles... very often all too late. And I think if BB were betting on a desired 'manufactured' reaction, as you say... then I think that she just took the bait and gave them the response they were after. They definitely loaded that gun and she fired it!

It's such a shame, I don't think she means any harm, and I don't think she is a nasty or spiteful person at all, but she is her own worst enemy and digs some pretty big holes for herself. I was actually watching it saying 'oh stop, don't say any more'!

She started off speaking quite maturely about it, saying she wished him well, or something to that effect. And then after she said something like "Maybe he's moved on already", THAT was when one of the press said "He's been cashing in". There was no "allegedly" about it. It was a straight statement. And Steph just had to bite

Does Steph seriously think Sam is going to sit at home pining for her? Of course he is going to continue working as he has done. PAs is a part of the 'work' he 's done for a long time before Stephs time in thouse. Why can't people see that* Go Sam i say!!! She is backtracking and has no self awareness of her actions in the house. It's a shame she really hasn't learnt anything...

You're slightly missing the point. She never said that. She first said "He may have moved on"...and then the press guy said "He's been cashing in", which was obviously going to be inflammatory in this volatile context. THAT'S when Steph shouted out something like "Carry on with your PAs then, you knob-ed" (which was still wrong, but what do you expect - it's Steph!)

It's more Stephanie will be the one cashing in after it shows how she's thinking, to even come up with that reason.
Even if Sam has cheated on her Stephanie chose to take him back. Cheating as some form of revenge just makes her stoop down to the same level being just as bad.
I imagine Stephanie is going to stick to the story of Sam never taking her out when she gets out etc. At this stage if Sam spoke out I'd support him he deserves to have his say to defend himself. Not sure if he will he's avoided everything so far.
