Yes I agree with you there....it was very uncomfortable.... I'm glad Danni put gobby Luisa in her place

Oh gawd yes! I think the reason I ramble on so much in here is for that very reason...

...if my peeps in 'real life' knew I watched the show, let alone discussed it daily, I would become a pariah!

A pariah I tell you!

In RL I am a wonderful human being I am a loving wife, mother, grand mother and daughter. On here I can bitch and moan to my hearts content.

I just love a good moan.

I have watched BB and CBB consistently. However, when my fav HMs have left then I usually stop watching...i.e. not bothered who wins.

I am interested in psychology so this is the main reason I like to watch the interactions. I make a graph of the nominations, i.e. who votes for who and why just so that I can gain insight into how they behave, i.e. whether it is likely to be more game playing than truthful. Poor Tiffany still doesn't suspect Scotty of nominating does she? I disliked the way Scotty dived into hugging her when she was saved....hmm

I am quite ashamed to admit I watch BB. Let's face it....it's image is pretty poor! I like some drama but not relentlessly so, like in this series of CBB. It's nice to see them having fun too and there has been precious little of this....mostly confined to the party times (with music).

Maybe it coincides with their favourite getting bad edit?

I have to say as a avid fan from the first BB
that sadly, unlike a few years ago when everyone in the office watched
(before Helen W was given immunity and won)
hardly anyone I know watches anymore
I find that quite sad

Didn't you have your own reality show about 20 years ago?

I did, I did - I eagerly await the day my phone goes with an invite to CBB.

I don't think Luisa expected Danni to be so forthright in her answers. Good on you Danni.

Nope. Don't care what others think. CBB is a reality TV show, always has been, always will be. You'll always get someone that views it as car crash TV, wether that be BB7 or CBB17. I know plenty of people who watch it, so I don't see why you'd be embarrassed.

I wonder if they'll send out another 'survey' after this series asking us what we want - and then blatantly continuing on their own merry way. I can no longer persuade myself that this is 'reality' TV. There's no reality left in it. I've never watched TOWIE or MIC or GS, but I feel like I've been force-fed that rubbish continually since this series began. For me, the tipping point has come in realising that the whole thing is manufactured, scripted, faked. I feel patronised by producers who actually believe that they are producing entertainment. This is bear-pit television. I watched it, but I hated it.”

Oh yes, most definitely. I feel exactly the same as you, watch it for the same reasons, think it was bear pit TV tonight and was disgusting. Yes I'm totally embarrassed to tell people I watch it, because like my husband and family tell me, it's crap! Sadly I do think it's come to an end for me but I do like the discussions and debates we have on here (mostly anyway) and will really miss that if I stop watching!

Couldn't agree more.
It's been uncomfortable at times, and not in a natural, organic way, but right from the moment they lynched Winston they've been pushing people to the extremes of what must be safe for their mental health.

John suffered on tonight's highlights, but I felt most sorry for Darren because of how tough it must have been for him to confront his demons on there and his reward was to be called a boring non-entitiy.
The guy looked absolutely broken and we know how hard it is for him to let go of stuff.
It was a moment that should have shamed the producers, but they nevertheless left it in.

ps - it was a fantastic post, but paragraphs really help to make it more readable!

Yes when you put it like that Penny then yes I am the same! I am all of those things, apart from losing my wonderful mother. Maybe that's why we have hung on for so long!

Awwwww - Darcy. I have very recently done a garage conversion for my mum (hopefully no bodies under the concrete) - I am now taking care of her - it's kind of like having kids in the house again.

I think we go full circle.

Sorry for going OT.

Me too, what a nasty piece of work Luisa is and didn't do so great when she was in the house either. Not impressed with Vanessa either when she herself basically had a massive melt down and started chalking words all over the table when she was in the house. What hypocrites these two women are!

No worries, I'm with you on most things, good for you looking after your mum, mums are very precious so make the most of her whilst she's here! Love the Corrie connection and the bodies,

Thankfully I am lucky to have a very full life, like you. Husband and see lots of my children and grandchildren that keeps me busy. I seriously wonder now if I need BB in it anymore!
