This isn't a betting scam though is it? Not as far as we know anyway!

Probably not - but it still will affect many bets on the CBB winner. If I'd backed Steph at 250/1 I'd be furious! It's almost worth voting for Scotty, just to see the fallout.

If it's all very young girls who have rang & expected to be put through to Geordie Shaw, & have ended up on a CBB voting line I doubt if they'd complain. There'd simply hang up & think no more about it I'd have thought.

Or indeed any other housemate at any other odds. Some turnips done something that's made it all a bit unfair! But there we go... There's nothing that can really be done about it, not even anyone you could complain to... Channel 5, Endemol, bookmakers... Even the great and powerful ofcom () ...it's all just one twonk with a snapchat account. I mean everyone could complain to him I suppose but I doubt he'd do much other then say, "Soz like."

Maybe it's just something they'll have to safeguard for future series, have one of those premium rate numbers that only charge if your on for one minute... Be a bit irritating to have to listen to a recorded voice advising you what you'd rang for 60 seconds before your votes registered but it would mean nobody could do this again.

I think he will win, but then I've felt that way since Day 1.

I was thinking the other day of all the BB winners - celebrity and non - since 2000, and I felt the high majority didn't actually deserve the win in that they weren't the housemate who gave the most to the show - Scotty would certainly be a part of that majority.

I agree.

And the argument that 'they were likely to vote Scott anyway' is ridiculous. Not everybody who watches GS automatically likes Scott!

Because people have posted that they rang the number to speak to Gaz but then realised they had been scammed into voting for Scotty

And NO we cant point you to evidence of complaints as we do not have access to C5, Ofcom or the action fraud databases
