Im in Johns corner here on the milk debacle, there was absolutely noo need for scattering that milk all over the kitchen, it was filfthy and Im actually surprised she cleaned it up.... but John was right... although she was put up to the task, she took it far too far.. its a wonder she didnt wear her sock suit to do it.. then she could have flung herself over the sinks too... Wouldnt some gymnastics, singing or jumping in the pool not been better..after all shes going to Hollywood, dont you know...... and would have been great practice to have danced on the kitchen worktop too.

Completely agree, she could have still done the task without throwing milk everywhere.

Big Brother gave her permission to be a maniac, and she took it as far as she could. The woman never thinks about the consequences of her actions until after others react. BB should have cleaned it up.

Yes they did tell her to show off and thats something the young woman knows how to do very well... its constant...I expected her though to sing from Over the Rainbow and flounce around in some daft dress... not this mental show she put on... she just looked ridiculous.. John was right in what he said..

Her behaviour was consistent with how she has been all series: reactive, and given the slightest loosened tether... bouncing off the walls. John may have been fed up with it, but it's not necessary "right" of him, knowing the circumstances.

Its difficult though when he was so angry at her to calm down and accept it as a task.. she was still completely over the top and silly.

John has coped least well with being in there IMO. He is an intelligent guy and finds it difficult and frustrating that regardless of what image he went in there to present its BB who pull the strings and manipulate situations and John is clearly a quite controlled guy has struggled with the mayhem and chaos.
I feel sorry for him and think this was a mistaken idea .
He was raging over the milk and just as raging that it was a task and BB was manipulating and milking the situation !

No he was just too angry, the mess and smell ouf milk when its been spilled would have annoyed me, and I would have retrained the idiot even if it was a task, no one tried..

Absolutely. Its rather telling that she equates tantrums to getting attention.

To be fair, I think most people agree Steph went too far with the task. Unless I've missed something? The debate for me centres around whether she did it ON PURPOSE to rile John. Which IMO is a ridiculous accusation and simply another jibe at Steph - which I think is what some forum members objected to.

In terms of the OP, it's fine. John was p*ssed off and that should have been respected, rather than being used to have a further poke at him as some seemed to do and not to mention the BB producers (who were really behind "Get John Day"). The irony is that Steph DID respect that fact after the event - you could clearly see she was squirming inside after she had done it and trying to say sorry to "Daddy".

How would that work when her task was to get attention by stirring up an argument.
Scotty T's task was to stir up a romance. Are some people still not getting that?
From that post, I guess you're not.

She was given permission to do it whatever way she wanted to, to convince the others and win a prize. She did that successfully and won. She did well. John just doesn't like been had and people on here just love crying over spilt milk...it's ridiculous.

And there is a long, rather ridiculous thread on this already.

well why did you jon in this one... seriously though.. John has had it in there... I dont think he could take another week of it, you would have to come from TOWIE or one of the stupid trash telly shows to be able to carry this through ..... its all a farce ..

i thought it was hilarious , some people need to lighten up. no one died.
plus it was a task and she cleaned it up afterwards so whats the big deal.
big brother should have replaced the milk though perhaps

That's a fair point if she tried to start an argument by singing too loud, or dancing, they would twig it was a task. It made more sense to camouflage her task in her every day regular behavior, It was too easy for her. As someone suggested on the other thread, they should have picked Darren to do it, so as to make it a challenge.

Almost like it's a role she had been rehearsing since entering

I don't think it was a great bit of acting, she's like Hugh Grant, typecast because she can only play herself, she has no range.

On BOTS the other night they did show Darren asking John if it could possibly be a task. John repeatedly said, 'It's not a task', This was cut from last night's HLs. He wouldn't have known this was cut out though so it may have made him feel a bit foolish. IMO he was also still feeling upset about the quiz the day before when HMs were shown saying stuff behind people's backs. I don't think any of them enjoyed that because it showed their true colours.

she never cleaned the carpet that was soaked in milk, all the HMs saying how much it still smells in the living area, even Rylan mentioned the smell in one of his VTs yesterday

This.
During that conversation, John said to Darren that he asked BB if it was a task and they told him no. If they had told him yes it would have ruined the task. Lol

It's interesting that Steph used the knickers and the milk chucking as her way of gaining attention. Makes you wonder if she was asked to wind up John in particular as it certainly pressed all his buttons .
