I noticed that the Strictly Come Dancing bosses will be pleased with all the X Factor show axe claims due to low ratings.

Problem is what would ITV replace it with that gets better ratings. It fills two hours of prime time every weekend evening from September to just before Christmas. They've lost Downton so I expect even more X factor to fill the Sunday gap.

They have bought The Voice. So don't need two shows the same. The Voice is much bigger in the US for a start.

Lol who cares? It's not bigger here, both singing-only shows are of roughly the same ever-diminishing size.

All shows have a shelf life and this one is no different. It's tired, jaded and fake. Time to find something new.
