Scotty T has knocked Tiffany off the top spot in Betfair after several large bets supporting the likely lad. Bets of £4000 and several £2500's were placed on him since yesterday. Neither Tiffany nor Stepanie's supporters are betting in large sums.

Although Stephanie tops the poll on Tellymix with Scotty in 3rd place, it would be foolish to discount Scotty's 1.2 million twitter followers (Steph 219,000 Tiffany 114,000).

It comes as no surprise after the 'voting scam' reveal.

Will be sorely disappointed if that plank wins.

It wont be a fair win if its Scotty T it will be a hollow victory.

Yep, he will win. Maybe there was a small chance Tiff could have won without the scam, but the scam has just confirmed his victory.

Channel 5 are asking for anybody who has fallen victim to the scam to contact them.

There will definitely be some people who have voted through this scam who simply cba to do all the getting touch palava. His votes should've been cancelled and started again.

But there's not much C5 can do. They can't exclude just his votes and reset them to 0 as it's not fair to anyone who voted prior to that and that will be stealing from Scotty T's actual supporters.

And they can't exclude ALL of the votes because then that's 2 and half days lost of voting and if they reset it, not only will they need to refund everyone but the voting lines will only be open for 9 hours or so.

I very much doubt that "many" people fell for this prank; Twitter users are more savy than you think.

Because Scotty has 10 times the number of followers than Tiffany, he is bound to get more votes through that info channel, so no scam is needed.

Its a shame that the scam seems to have influenced proceedings because up until almsot that very moment he was not favourite and its a massive coincindence to suddenly go favourite. Its a shame as it has slightly tainted things, I don't think its gained him a million votes by mistake but as it seems such a close run thing then i think it only needed a few hundred to gain the lead. Bookies are sometimes wrong though and it isnt over til its over so here's hoping.

This is why I do not like Reality TV people on CBB or IAC because they are so desperate to win they'll do anything for it.

ScottyT comes across as laid back, stays out of arguments, everyone's friend.
But I can assure you, he is the most desperate to win out of all of them.

People are really touchy when their favourite doesn't win aren't they? Just accept that the person you like best can't win every single time.

I accept that and very rarely does my favourite win BB or CBB but the whole voting scam on Snapchat and now on Twitter - win £150 voucher if you re-tweet Scotty T's CBB to win Tweet has left a rather sour taste in my mouth.

His twitter following, and the scammers making 1000s of phone calls, will ensure he wins.

Its true, the scam wasnt his fault and there have been worse winners but it is a shame as it IMO would have been refreshing to have finally someone like Tiffany win and not your average BB winner (good-looking but not entertaining male).

I hope Scotty wins. It will be hilarious and a bigger relief that neither Tiffany or especially Stephanie won.

Tiffany has been lucky she has had really good edits on the highlights shows recently leading up to the final people are forgetting what she was like at the beginning

As somebody has said on another thread, I don't understand why somebody would want a hollow victory.
Because surely anyone with a brain would want to win based on a level playing field where the general public voted for them all because they liked them the most, not because they were tricked.

I could set up an online poll for people to vote on who's the best person ever, and put my name up alongside famous people, and then fix the poll so that I win.
But how could I possibly be pleased that the public like me the most if it isn't even real?

Are some of these wannabes so deluded that they'd be as happy with a hollow victory which isn't a true reflection of real votes as they would be with a fair and above board vote?
I just don't understand the mentality of that sort of person.

Would be funny if people just bet on him (e.g those large bets other posters mentioned) and did not vote thinking the snapchat scam has gotten him tens of thousands of votes, and their money goes down the drain.

It would be a shame if Scotty did win. if he wasn't there how different would it be?
