Will tonight's win 'not count' in the eyes of viewers if Scotty wins?

I can imagine that. If he wins, BB will take it as a win obviously. But the viewers probably won't ever count it as a real victory. In the list of winners, I may not even peg him down as someone on the list, most probably will count the runner up as the winner.

Anyone think this?

Tbh if I was a HM or an agent of a housemate I'd be annoyed that someone won by scamming people. Even if 1% of people did it, that's 21,000 votes. That's probably around about how many votes a final gets anyway.

I'm not blaming Scotty or C5. I'm blaming Gary.

IMO if the voting follows the betting, Tiff & Scotty are very close and those extra votes could be the difference between first and second place. So in answer to your question, I'll probably not consider him a "proper" winner.

And while, as said elsewhere (IIRC by Penny Crayon) this is just a competition for "King of the Numpties" it does have an effect on the bets people have placed. Gaz obviously has realised it could become serious, as he's desperately trying to distance himself from the snapchat!

It'll be interesting to see if they release the full voting breakdown with times included like they did with the Ashleigh / Helen Final.

The whole scam idea has been blown vastly out of a proportion , a few noobs rang a number because someone told them to.
Nothing more but as usual DS love a good flap.

I'll be pissed.

If Gary had just done a 'vote for Scotty T, he's in the final!!!!!!!!' snapchat, fair enough - but it is the deceit and sly tactics employed that irk me.

Yes an undeserved win in my eyes. I expected him to win before he entered the house but he hasn't brought anything in terms of entertainment.

His lack of meangiful contribution disqualifies him in my eyes anyway

It might depend on how many votes he wins by.

It won't be the first time a so called boring HM has won BB though will it.
A competition based format would be better if you want a deserving winner, though that's a topic for another thread on another day.

Whoever wins tonight, there will be outrage and people will still scream 'fix' and say the voting line was down for whoever they were trying to vote for or some other bizarre excuse

Bottom 3

Daniella - Will get booed no matter what

John - Will get booed no matter what

Darren - No reaction, perhaps some mild boos but that is about it as he's done basically nothing outside of that oh so hilarious food fight

Top 3

Steph - Massive boos if she wins, perhaps a smattering of cheers if some have fallen for that 'redemption' edit from last night

Scott - No matter what, the e iz well fit and GS fans will cheer him to the rafters

Tiff - Probably a mixture of both cheers and boos given her antics with Scott

Perhaps they should disqualify him because of the voting "scam" and refund everybody who has voted for him. The resulting fallout between him and this Gaz bloke would probably get them enough publicity to cover the financial loss (can you tell I don't watch Geordie Shore?!)

Channel 5 is refunding and cancelling the votes of anyone who feels betrayed by calling the number to Gaz. And also Scott is oblivious of this, it's not his fault. Apperently not even Gaz knew about it but his pr agency who tweeted it on his account.

Well I can't prove it, neither can you, so I'm assuming it's a guess!!

I say it's more fool the people for ringing a number that some reality star tells you to ring.

If the bloke had told them to go and kill the queen, would they have done it?

I doubt Scotty wants a win that tainted with a voting scam .

So far I'm aware of one persons daughter and two others cited (one of which was dumb enough to ring the number twice ) in The Sun article that felt scammed.
So I'm sticking to my guns .. a few noobs rang a number

He may have won anyway, but now we will never know. Yes I think a lot of people will see it as not counting, as he won't have won on his time in the house...just by his mates being deceptive.
