They're not good but definitely not as awful as those bloody scarecrows.

Even though I do find them annoying, I can quite imagine some of this forum users being like that.

Me too. Was glad when he disappeared off the screen, sadly he returned. He's for twee people and because GoCompare thinks he helps sell their product. The man is a tit

Bring back the scarecrows, or better still, change sponsors”

Be gratefull the sponsers pay for the programmes you watch.........

And careful, if IF hahahaha they read the forums they very well could decide to no longer sponser..They are after all. advertising their wares........Be loyal and buy them, or not, do not harshly speak of them...make a cup of tea or a bag of chips....

Yes they are all dreadful though I usually do not watch them as I usually watch the show from the recorder and speed through them and the opening title shots. I preferred the scarecrows with the puns. Not sure who the current sponsor is, is it still McCains, if it's not I guess the promos are not doing a good job on me. Despite not watching the scarecrows etc regularly I knew who the sponsor was.

They pay towards the programmes not the full programme. Perhaps they may decide to change their advertising agency instead of removing sponsorship. Even if the current sponsors pull out I'm sure ITV would have little difficulty finding someone else to step in and sponsor it.

Thank goodness it's not just me - the lovely blonde girls round the table with that awful orange wotsit thing - what does he look like - ridiculous. Bring back the scarecrows - marginally less annoying

They're not that bad really, but the "emotions" lady is annoying

I glad this thread has appeared! I hate them too. I presume they think everyone who watches ED is a thick chav! The woman talking about her emotions makes me want to put a brick through the tv!

Irritated or not, they have got you thinking, talking, commenting and remembering it all. Job done.

McCains, which I guess is why every "home-cooked meal" these people eat has chips in.

Do you buy every product advertised in the breaks? They' re also paying for that specific slot, so you could use the same argument. You must gave loads of money
