Here's what Yougov says about your mobile brand
Thine Wonk

Yougov build trends based on what customers of each network tell them in surveys.

EE...
Describe yourself as geeky, sweet and irreverent
You are more likely to be male, 25-39 and left wing
You have a fair amount of spare cash each month
Online for 16-20 hours a week and watch up to 10 hours of TV a week

O2...
You're more likely to be female, and spend 16-20 hours online, 6-10 hours of TV
A waitrose shopper with a VW
You like people, celebrities and movies
You are only slightly left wing in politics
You have even more spare cash each month than EE customers

Vodafone...
You're a lot older, average was 40-54
You are right wing
Lots of spare income
You like travel, business, crosswords, gardening, DIY and golf, you drive an Audi
Online for only 6-10 hours a week, but you make up for it by watching 21-25 hours a week
You read the Telegraph and work in industries like finance, insurance and property

Three...
25-39, left wing, IT worker into sports, the least spare cash of all the networks
You're interested in computer programming and cycling
You play a lot of video games and play with apps
You describe yourself as geeky, clever and independently minded and shop as ASDA
You are online for 10 hours more than EE users and 30 hours more than Vodafone users. but you hardly watch traditional TV at all.

These results are based on tens of thousands of customer surveys for each network at https://yougov.co.uk/profileslite

Yes ok "new member" I have already seen your other Three comments in the other threads, there plenty of others for you to have a gripe in. Lets try and keep some of the threads on a different topic though please.

- that's how long GPRS takes to check Facebook just once.

Left wing??
Don't be silly. That would make me a Totnes yogurt weaver and surely I'd be worried about the "rays" frying my brain??
Hahahaha

Yeah I do find it a bit strange the left wing, although our current government is not exactly very right. You're only a bit of a leftie, not much on EE according to Yougov.

Thought somebody would say that Three users use 10 hours more internet just because of the slow speeds hahaha, I was waiting for that one...

What a load of tosh.

Time and money was spent producing that. I would be interested to know who paid.

Luckily despite thier official sounding name they are nothing to do with the government and are a market research company that has a name and status that makes people think they must be an official thing.

From their site:https://yougov.co.uk/account/faq/
YouGov is a global market research and data company

YouGov conducts surveys for a diverse group of clients to help them better understand public views about current affairs, and consumer products and brands.

For Three it is pretty much spot on for me apart from my age, i'm 22!

Not surprising Voda customers watch a lot of TV as they never have 3G so can't do anything more than text or call.

Mass stereotyping from the government, which got me completely wrong.

No, nothing to do with the government, an independent company who collects data through research and survey. I don't think this was really meant to be taken too seriously. Just "is it right for you?" for a bit of fun.

There is no left and right no anyway (well excepting Corbyn).
All middle ground which is good in one way and bad in another.
In the US there is NO left wing at all.
You have the Democrats who are basically the Tory party and then the Republicans who are a bunch of extremely dangerous gun toting bible bashing nut cases!!
I'm a Conservative but only very slightly right of centre so I like the idea of a lot of the left of centre views even though I don't think they would work in practice.
What I find odd is that EE tends to attract switched on techy people and in my experience techie people often have right of centre views.
No idea why that is, it's just an observation.
May be just to do with where I live of course so it's probably crap.

Let's keep the politics out of this section of the forum.

I thought you lived surrounded by bead and chakra people

Thinking about what I know from people at work which is a strictly politics not allowed zone under the law I think it is roughly true.

I do but I resist the temptations of the sandals and no knickers brigade.
They have wonderful ideas which wouldn't actually work in practice.
Shame, as the world would be a much better place.

So which is the network for left-wing people over 54 who spend a lot of time online and watch a lot of TV and shop at Waitrose?

Um, you know what? No, I won't.
Part of the point of the OP was the speculative political orientation of the users of the various networks.
I'm not trying to make a political point or steer anyone toward any particular political side.
Admittedly I have poked a bit of fun at the hard left but anyone is free to do the opposite and the grown up ones of us here will take all in good humour.

Damn, looks like you're out of luck.
Clearly a gap in the market there.
I think all governments would reject you as being unsuitable.
Only one thing for it, start a new party and win a general election.
Much easier done than said with the current sides in there!!
