One thing I find quite objectionable is when some people feel the need to directly question the character of a FM because they hold a particular view or may be arguing for a certain HM. To me, it shows they can't tolerate or properly debate other opinions or maybe even find some of the alternative arguments difficult to completely neutralise, so they resort to veiled personal attacks. I'm not talking about when debates may get heated or using passionate language and maybe even some sarcasm. That's part of the fun! I'm talking about quite personal digs at another FM, just because you my disagree with a post.

Anyway, just felt that needed saying.

Hope everyone is still enjoying the aftermath (at least a little ).”

So what's your take on what Stephanie is saying on Twitter, not as nice as you first thought Stephanie eh?

I knew we'd find common ground somewhere. I think that is one of my biggest gripes on this forum. It makes my blood boil when people do that.

I have supported some 'questionable' HM's in the past - who knows why we are drwan to supporting certain individuals. it can be for all sorts of reasons - it doesn't make you a bad person.

Personally - I find Steph very distasteful - not my cup of tea at all - a grubby little tart in fact (there I said it). I really don't judge you as a person for supporting her though.

Exactly that. Getting personal is a way of deflecting from the points being made, and so not having to deal with them.
Once you start getting personal it shows you are losing the argument.

It beggars belief that the same people that are slating Stephanie and talking about her as if she was a serial killer, are holding Scotty T up as an example of someone to be admired ! He believes it's hilarious to tell stories about him shitting on women while having sex. Get a grip on yourself man if you believe that Stephanie has done anywhere near the amount of foul things that Scotty T has done.”

Good to see someone on here,(maybe others I have missed,) who feel the same way as I do re Scotty T.

Agree 100%. I believe most of the voters for CBB are younger people who are indoctrinated via media that 'celebrities' are some type of new gods who are to be revered regardless of their behaviour. I think it is a sad indictement of our society that Stephanie and Scotty T are the type of people adored by younger viewers and their 'type' is to be aspired to. I really do not understand this and cannot see any endearing qualities in either of them. Of course BB promote this idealism, and that is my reason for not watching last night and my decision to never watch BB again. I truly dislike the manipulation from production towards their chosen HMs. BB 'died' many years ago for me but I persevered through recent rubbish series, I cannot shout 'fix' because apparently this cannot be done due to people paying to vote, but the recent results prove to me that BB choose their winner and do whatever they can to secure their victory. I'm sad because once I loved BB, it was a social experiment and very interesting to watch, recent years have become a sham and Scotty T winning following his shameful bragging regarding women was the final straw for me.

People saw through her just at the right time. Her Sam reece cheating is now apparently just made up rubbish too.

Just checked out Steph's official Twitter. Not a single negative tweet. She has made a few nice tweets about last night, including one saying "luck of the Irish", to which Jezza has "liked".

Jez has also "liked" multiple tweets about him and Steph.

Only according to Sam on Twitter.

I wouldn't jump all that fast.

Personally, I'm remaining neutral on that particular issue until I see more evidence. And anyway, it's something that would be very hard to prove/disprove.

Bit odd. Just had a scout through Twitter "live" tweets on Steph and cannot find a single reference to the said "tweets" you speak of. Not one re-tweet or any responses. Amazing how you know about it though

Also, I'm amazed (seriously) at the masses of positive tweets for Steph. Around 95% supporting her (and Jez).

PS Even if she did post such a tweet, I wouldn't put it past her. You know I have been critical of her at times in terms of her attention-seeking. So think you should give me more credit than that

Nice one Penny. Although I thought we found a little common ground at times (e.g. in reference to John).

I was drawn to Steph because I saw the good in her (despite all her multiple faults) and felt she needed some defending on here in relation to the reasons why she behaves the way she does. I have also been quite critical of her and fair minded at times, in my opinion. Further, I have a close family member who is very similar to Steph (resembling many of her traits) and got a little personally involved in that respect.
