Yikes.

Sorry Big Brother UK voters but it's way past time the power was taken out of the public's hands. Can't trust these voters to vote in any sane and logical way like you could back in the day. Put the power on the Houseguests themselves and let them battle it out.

Don't have strong feeling either way but Scotty winning isn't so bad. At least he wasn't horrible in there. I'm even mildly happy for him. I rarely give a shit about who wins anyway; it's usually about who does not win. In this case it was about Stephanie NOT winning and she didn't! So... YAY!

I'm so sick of these talentless reality people winning these shows and getting hero worshipped by youngsters it's so wrong what kind of people are we going to end up with.

I'm so underwhelmed by it really. Better he won than that immature gobshite next to him on the sofa, though. I got her pegged from the beginning that she was going to be a drama vacuum. I had BB on in background but didn't watch it much and as soon as I heard the winner, I turned off. Here's hoping CBB in the summer is better (though my views on this series must be wrong because it's apparently been a huge hit - I just have never been keen on reality tv type personalities and their fame whoring for air-time and they have dominated it this series (tho' oddly, I found Tiffany quite amusing). Even though Stephanie is an actress, she has all the hallmarks of a desperate reality tv wannabe personailty. Perhaps it's the era in which she and people her age have grown up in and why these type of tv programmes are popular, but I find them an absolute yawnfest of magnificent proportions. CBB is the only reality tv show I watch and even then, it's not a regular thing.)

Talentless people! Thing is look at almost every TV Channel of every country.....they all have at least one reality tv show and the likes of the UK & the US are littered with them. Soooo take a show like BB or IACGMOOH or Strictly then who is likely to go on these shows? Reality TV crap! It's what they show beause it's cheap & nasty TV!

Viacom lied & said they wouldn't be adding reality tv to channel 5 as they have enough but the fact is channel 5 IS A REALITY TV CHANNEL! Take away the odd movie & the early evening soaps & you're left with nothing but Reality TV! Channel 5 IS trash!!!

Viacom added Scotty T and Megan for their own gain. This show is bad enough as it is, it's a shame that it's become a show to promote other shows on channels owned by Viacom now.

So how could this show work without a public vote then ? it seem's pretty pointless if there is no voting.

The way the USA/Canada version does.

They battle it out for power, nominate a few people for eviction and the house votes. The people nominated have chances to save themselves.

The public could still be involved with voting in certain twists or slight advantages thrown into the works just not on the most crucial things.

Sounds like crap to me. I would hate it if our version tried to copy another. We have our way, the US version has their way, let's keep it like that.
