So why was Angie allowed to go ?

Angie was told she could leave at any time because of the circumstances so they couldn't really ban her from the final.

The obvious difference between Angie and boith Johnathon and David, is that she left because someone had died...........

If you walk (unless for health or other serious reasons) then I don't think you should be allowed to partake in the spin-off series, or attend the final. I don't even think you should get the full fee. If you don't want to be part of the process and leave via the back door, then you shouldn't get the full post-eviction experience.

Are you a producer of the show? Why ask the question if you apparently know the answer ! I believe Bowie's death had a bearing on their leniency
