Just seems a bit too soon for my liking.. I mean he only left about just over 2 years ago. I just don't feel I've been given time to properly miss him yet. Also big finish are so busy this year that they have cut back the amount of big finish conventions to 1 this year due to being so busy recording. Would they have the time?

Matt Smith was my favourite new Doctor. I'd love to hear some audio adventures.
As an aside, I like how his last story spanned hundreds of years with his Doctor aging meaning you can pretty much do a multi-Doctor story featuring 11 and not have to worry about the actor's age. |

I'd love Matt to team up with a classic companion. There's a certain "gobby Australian" I could imagine would enjoy confronting . . . sorry . . . meeting up with him.

I loved Matt's Doctor, but this really feels way too soon.

He'd probably be open to cleaning my bathroom if the offer was made considering his recent career choices. Terminator Genisys? Pride and Prejudice and Zombies? Oh dear Matt.

If he works out a bit, I'm hoping he's doing to be up to play captain Britian when marvel gets round to using him.

Too late - they're already doing the War and Tenth Doctors.

The thing is, the recent Doctor Who actors are likely to be far busier, they're at the prime of their careers and ahem earning potential. David Tennant, for example, found time to do a bit of BF, but will have nowhere near the time to devote to it that the Classic Doctor Who actors will have, similarly their Companions
Imagine how hard it would be to get Matt, Karen and Arthur together, with their separate careers? |

I'm afraid I wasn't too impressed with him when he took to BBC Audio / AudioGo to read a few Audiobooks. His first, The Runway Train by Oli Smith, I let him off on because it was his first. Second was a co narration with Claire Corbett on James Goss' The Hounds of Artemis which was alright but not all that stand out, his third and final audio was The Jade Pyramid by Martin Day, which was near impossible to follow as he was reading it at 200km/h, although this may be because according to the author the story had to edited from a 2 disc adventure to a single disc adventure so there might have been a lot to cram in. Either way I found that Matt struggled to bring the same 11th Doctor barmy character from the screen to in front of a microphone.

Even if they could get together in the next six months or so it could be sometime next year before we'd see an actual release. Hell, if he's in the mood to do something like that get them written and recorded and then released in batches over the next 2-3 years |

I think they should wait at least 5 years after an actor has left the role of the Doctor before using that Doctor, otherwise they run a much greater risk of being contradicted by something in the show itself. I can see why they'd want to do it for commercial reasons. They're much more likely to get a bigger audience for a very recent Doctor than for an earlier Doctor.
As for Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, I rather fancy that. It might just be daft enough to be good. I'm not sure who its audience is going to be though. I don't think there's much overlap between zombie horror flick fans and Jane Austen fans. I don't generally like zombie movies (except for the excellent World War Z). And I'm fond of some of the Pride and Prejudice adaptations, but never could read the book.

These things are recorded two years in advance so I don't think the release schedule would get in the way. They have plenty of time to plan.
