Aaron's abuse.
Really?
Cain calls a meeting and tells all and sundry about this? Then, instead of keeping it quietly in the family they are all discussing it in the pub. I don't believe anybody would behave like this. Aaron hadn't even gone through the police interview and they are all chewing it over. Surely Aaron wouldn't want the whole village to be discussing this. He doesn't need to be ashamed of anything but he should speak when he wants to who he wants. All these people sitting there open mouthed while Cain holds court was horrible and I don't think it's what most people would be doing. |

No, of course not in real life- but this is a soap and it's just been used to speed the storyline on.

Look, Cain is King of the Dingles now Zak has been kicked out, and what he says goes. If he wants to air Aaron's rape out in public he is more than entitled to do that.
Thanks. |

That seems a bit... to me...Perhaps I'll change my mind upon viewing. |

All I know is that hug between Aaron and Adam was so beautiful. What a great friendship that is lasting years. It would have been so much better if Aaron had had confided in Adam first damn it! Itīs been a while since they went through a big story together for the last time.
I feel more and more annoyed at the thought of Robert reuniting with Aaron no matter what. That decision (that has been taken no doubt, itīs just a matter of when) seems more and more like a fail to me in more ways than I thought before (not wanting the abuser with teh victim together again was reson enough but you know, Iīm finding more reasons, itīs fail even for Robertīs character, the personality transplant is not cute). |

Upon viewing the episode I have changed my mind.
Cain telling the rest of the family was spot on. They should know but Aaron wasn't able to tell himself. The party in the pub was a bit ugh to me, but it's what the Dingle's do when someone in their family is hurting. The problem I had with the episode was Robert being in it. As usual he is being kept as close to the story as possible, the scene with Adam being vomit inducing. Even to the point of having Adam spell out the plot line for us. "If you're not careful people will forget to hate you." Or something as equally asinine. I hated it. All other scenes were good but I didn't like the zooming in shot on Aaron's face as he told the camera he was raped. |
