I've missed something, why are Denise and Patrick living at Kims?

The B&B is formed of two houses, Kim owns the second property but decided to sell it. To do that they had to turn the B&B back into two separate houses and Patrick and Denise stayed with the Hubbards while the work was being done,

It makes more sense to be converted back into two houses. It was wasted as a B&B fulfilling no real purpose.

Why didn't the Hubbards simlly move into Kim's side of the B&B instead? This would have avoided buying one property and selling another.

That's because of Walford Elastic House Syndrome. No matter how many people live in a property, you can always find another bedroom somewhere when you want someone to move in.

Kim wasn't with Vincent when he bought his house, she only went back to him after.

I thought it was one house and they were dividing it into flats and that Denise was keeping the bottom half? Never mind lol.

Well you'd think Denise would know her house is worth a good couple hundred thousand (and then some). She could have easily sold it when she had money problems!

Why have they replastered the whole house and moved the kitchen from the kitchen to the dining room? They only needed to do work on the hall & landing to close off the second house.
