Seeing Adam comfort Aaron after finding out about the abuse reminded me how much I love these two together and unlike Robert, there is no doubt that Adam genuinely care for Aaron Plus Adam has had zero chemistry with any of the women he's been paired with him, but Adam's chemistry with Aaron is still off the charts to this day. I would much rather see Aaron paired with someone Adam who cares about him then Robert who is always out for #1 and has never loved anyone but himself.

I ship Aaron/Adam as friends, and will forever do. It´s one of those few friendships in soapland that will last forever. So I don´t want them to put them together cause it would ruin that. I wish they would have let Adam be the one Aaron confided in first. Yesterdays hug was amazing and so real. Love how protective of Aaron Adam always is, including keeping an eye on Robert (and he nor most of the village don´t even know those awful truths from last year). Once Robert is out of Aaron´s life, Adam will remain, same as Paddy and Chas will remain. His essential 3.

Yeah I guess at this point friends is all they will ever be, but I really think they missed the boat not having Adam fall for Aaron, they would make such a nice couple and Adam would keep Aaron happy unlike someone else

Well maybe it would have been Adam's true feelings finally coming out, I think they could have made it work Besides if Robert can turn up gay with little explanation, I don't see why this wouldn't have worked.

OP I disagree I think Adam has great chemistry with his wife Victoria but Aaron and Adam's friendship is a beautiful thing when the writers remember it. Which is not often enough for my liking.

Maybe in past but clearly moved on now, he only loves him like a brother/friend now.

He has said quite explicitly on a few occasions that Jackson was the first person he ever fell in love with, which is why that relationship was such a big deal to him and why he freaked out so much when Jackson dropped the L bomb.

I disagree about Victoria, Adam has zero chemistry with her or any of the females he's been paired with, plus Adam Thomas looks so much older than Isabelle Hodgins, he looks like he's with his kid sister. Since Adam and Aaron will probably never happen they should try pairing him with Carly or Tracy.

Edna told Aaron that he took the rap for Aaron because he was in love with him and the Aaron needed to accept that Adam would never love him in the way he wants, Aaron did not deny anything that Edna said to him.

I thought he did deny it at first be came around to what Edna had to say and I felt that the purpose of that scene was for Aaron to finally move on from his feelings for Adam so he could then fall for Robert (ugh)

He just got fed up and frustrated listening to her and her ignoring what he was telling her.
But she got through to him when she started talking about how much Paddy and his mum needed and loved him, so he decided to put them before his loyalty to Adam and withdraw his statement and come home giving Danny Miller/Aaron a means to return as a regular, that was the point of the scene. Without that scene Aaron goes back to France never to be seen again.

The Robert storyline was months down the line and Aaron had just come out of a long term relationship with his ex Ed, so any lingering love he had for Adam wouldn't have stopped him having a relationship with anyone else.

I can only see them as friends and I love their friendship. Very believable.

I wasn't a big Robron fan but I really like that Robert is supporting Aaron now and I hope they work out.
