LOL I completely agree. He seems incapable of love. Even when he told Aaron he loved him I didn't buy it for one second.
adam is happily married to the sister of aaron's ex... who is currently supporting him at a very low point in his life... heaven forbid adam suddenly turn gay or bi or whatever at this time and ermmm swing this SL in a completely unexpected direction 
I would totally support an Adam and Aaron relationship over Robert and Aaron, but alas, they are not going to make Adam gay overnight. This isn't Hollyoaks. 
Adam and Aaron would be very pretty together. I just can't buy Robert's love for Aaron. He's better as an evil character. Adam's concern for Aaron seemed a lot more authentic than Robert's.

I'm not saying Adam should suddenly turn gay, I just would prefer to see Aaron paired with Adam and if they did I 'd want the story to make sense. Now that being said I do realize its not going to happen even if Adam were gay, the RobRon stans would lose their minds if Aaron was paired with anyone else.

Exactly, Robert showing love or concern for anyone is completely out of character. They were writing him as a mustache twrilling villain and magically over night we are supposed to believe he's changed?

Katie was an accident but he could have called the police and I get Robert changed his mind about the hit man (probably because it cost too much money) but later he attempted to kill Paddy twice, threatened to harm a special needs child and held Aaron hostage. Those are acts of an evil person....hell even Cameron and Richard Hillman didn't stoop so low to threaten little kids.

his scenes with aaron in 2015 were purposely written to be ambiguous... does he love him? does he not? we're supposed to take sides and sit back and look out for elements that support our confirmation bias...
viewers from opposite sides of the fence talk about it... ED is happy we talk about them

Aaron and Adam do have great chemistry.
Up until recently I did think Aaron still carried a torch for Adam but now I think that has gone.
They are good as friends. What we like about them now might disappear if they were anything more.
Ultimately it's too late for a relationship between them. It wouldn't be believable if Adam was suddenly interested now after all these years of being best mates.
I shipped Aaron/Adam more than I did Aaron/Jackson back in the day but now it's all about Robron for me
