Presumably this means that there's going to be more poking around in Gail's manhole then.

Think we pretty much guessed that would happen. I will be glad to see the end of the storyline, even though I do like Kylie.

I hope that she takes the kids and then they can transform David and reinvigorate him

Disappointing but after the pathetic Callum storyline I don't blame her for deserting the sinking ship.

I would like to see her sent down for killing Callum, but that would have implications for David and Sarah too.

If they're going to literally let her get away with murder and just leave, take the kids with you.

She's been wasted since Blackburn decided to jettison all the character growth & development the character underwent when she worked at the Bistro and revert her back to how she was when she first appeared.

Such a shame. The actress was worth much more.

Saw it coming...

With Carla and Kylie now due to leave, the Street is FAST running out of popular/younger female characters.

We have Tracy, Leanne, Sarah, Sarah and Eva now. A far cry from the dozens of these types of characters the show had a few years back.

A real shame, but it was inevitable. The actress mentioned the length of time that Katherine Kelly spent on the show before in interviews. It was obvious she was thinking along the same lines. I wish her every success as she is a brilliant performer.

'Popular/younger'

I'm struggling to work out which of those words applies to Tracy?

Saddled with two young babies, I don't see her doing much acting anytime soon.

I won't miss Carla at all. But I will miss Kylie, I liked her with David.and the kids (despite the constant cycle of them splitting up).

If she does get done for Callum's murder I am eager to see what the repercussions will be. Max will have to live with the fact his mother killed his father, plus Marion won't be best pleased her son has been buried underneath the Platt household whilst she was going out of her mind with worry.

If she does get done for Callum's murder, will Big Bird and FlatCap come looking for revenge?

Paula Lane is a fantastic actress and Kylie has been a brilliant character for the past 5 years. Her and David have been a great laugh to watch.

But I do feel Kylie's character has gone down hill ever since the drug addiction, which is Blackburn's fault who totally ruined Kylie's character development and her partnership with David, and hasn't been the same since so I do feel it's time for Kylie to have a break.

I wish Paula all the luck for the future, whatever her plans.

Just a shame all the good actors are leaving (not that I can blame them!).

Like a lot of people, I'm not surprised. It seemed inevitable.

I know that Paula has said that she wants to try her luck in Hollywood so best of luck to her. She is a brilliant actress.

Another actress who wants to crack Hollywood Why do they think that they are good enough to star in films

What a weird thing to say. Hollywood actors weren't born STARS. Everyone has to start somewhere and where better than a soap.

Tracy Barlow popular? The girl is a complete bitch IMO.

And as for her looks, even Janice Battersby was better looking.

Not exactly a big surprise. Pretty much saw this coming once she killed callum. Obviously that will be her exit. No doubt she'll say she killed callum on her own in self defence and will tell david and sarah to keep quiet for the kids. Although we don't actually know if she goes to prison. She might go on the run maybe living with her sister.

It's a shame Paula Lane is leaving as she isn't a bad actress. Why can't they send Kylie to prison and when she comes out recast the character?

I couldn't agree more. She's a great actress and deserved so much more character development and good storylines. The whole Callum murder story put the kibosh on all that.
