Later JC walks back into the kitchen (he'd been out talking to some diners), it was difficult to hear what he was saying, phone rings, Kellie answers it.
"Yeah.....Will do"
Walks upto JC and says <sound cut>
JC fiddles with his mic pack, and suddenly you can hear him clearly.
I wonder what the phone call was and what message she passed onto JC
(No, JC did not have his earpiece in)
Why all the damn sound cuts?
And as for 'Live'?.....Well the people obviously have a pulse so they must be live
