Whilst I really do like Now TV, and think the deals mentioned here are indeed great value, an eyebrow did rise when I saw your comparison to Netflix.
Keep in mind that the Netflix price you quoted is the standard subscription without the free month trial, or any other deals that have been around (I have seen 6 months off in the past), while the price you quoted for Now TV was a special and not the standard fare.
Normally, Now TV Movies and Entertainment would set a customer back £204, which is a lot more than Netflix's £78.
And as for hit shows, that is a personal choice. Whilst many would find the shows on Now TV to be more to their preference, others would be leaning towards Netflix's original productions which have made a lot of headlines lately.
Personally, I think having both is pretty good.
Still, oranges for oranges, if you are going to include the standard Netflix costs, you should compare with standard Now TV costs.
