I've see this happen times before when a character is introduced for a episode and becomes popular and stays

Maybe not permanant but they've introduced her and her daughter for a reason so I think the could be recurring for a while.

If she does I will stop watching. She's like an evil hybrid of Elaine, Cora, and Kat at her absolute worst.

I'm sure the actress is fine but she would need to be toned down A LOT for her to work permanently.

The actress played the 1958 version of Big Mo in the flashback episode with Pat.

Really like her - she reminds me of Kathy Burke a bit

Agree with Elaine and Kat (not so sure about Cora!) but she was dreadful. The sort of OTT comedy nonsense that always fails. But they seem to be setting a few things up with the offer to Nancy and Jay taking an interest in her daughter (I assume). So they will need to tone it down big time for me not to be switching off. Or she needs to have a chat with Steve McFadden about how to play drunk scenes.

I hope not. She is just not that much better then Elaine. Keep her away before I call for her to be killed off. As a regular she would not work.

To be fair, we've only seen her shitfaced. She might be an amazing character when she's sober.

I'm sure she will be around enough for her daughter to need to seek out Jay for some fun as an escape

Lorraine Stanley is pretty busy- I don't see becoming a regular.

We have Cora and Kat returning so there is no need for Thelma.

I would be surprised of this is the last we see of either of them, why else make them related?

With Phil's daughter back on the scene that would mean Walford has its own Thelma and Louise.
