Take me to church doesn't really lend itself to any of the dances sadly. Maybe if they (god forbid) introduced contemporary...
I'd like to see slightly faster rumba music next series. Is it just me or are they almost always too slow? Writings on the wall was a particularly tricky one. I think that's part of the reason the rumba content this series was so lacking... the couples that got good music had a lot of recognisable basic steps - the ones that didn't had a lot of posturing and wiggling about. Hello is too slow too. I love it but my dance teacher always speeds it up when we dance to it. I like Go your own way - wilson philips Too lost in you - sugababes Goldeneye - tina turner Fields of gold - sting |

Both Pixie Lott and Kimberly Walsh are among the audience at Dynamo Live and I was wondering what Dynamo would be like as a Strictly contestant.

There will probably be a tribute to David Bowie, so these would be my picks:
Cha Cha Cha - Let's Dance Charleston (or Salsa) - Dancing in the street Option for an instrumental song: Rumba - New York City https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OM2bA9NnUxU (it is also the closing theme of the Dutch version of The Mole; which is still running) Option for an animated song: Paso/Tango - Thundercats Theme https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vwGgwZSgZAI (could also be instrumental) |

In regard to recent events, this would make a good group dance:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LzzUGY0-WeQ Or a Quickstep/Foxtrot to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SsmVgoXDq2w (neither song has been used yet on Strictly) |

If they ever decided to introduce contemporary, it would be fabulous though! |

The song is in 4/4 time and has approximately 120 beats per minute.
It would be suitable for a foxtrot. ![]() That said, Strictly thinks it's ok to do a Tango to Hold back the river by James Bay so what do I know.

I considered that, but just didn't think it had the right feel for a Foxtrot.

ETA- I know Yellow Brick Road's not in waltz time- I was just shoe-horning it in because I love it. I'd let the pro's do a group dance to it

I love the Carousel waltz from Carousel it's perfect for a Viennese waltz and I don't think it's been done before
another one I'd like to see is the Rhumba to Unbreak My Heart by Toni Braxton btw i think those of you who said foxtrot for 7 years are right - I don't have a clue about counting beats but the melody has that slow quick quick rhythm that I associate with foxtrot

I don't know what it is called but I think the song used in the "Very" advert which is on at the moment could be a good choice for a Salsa?
