Belinda Carlisle - Summer Rain for a Cha Cha.

Perfect for a Springwatch or Countryfile presenter.

Each year they reuse most of the music because they don't want to pay for royalties.

They'll use "Can't Stop The Feeling" by Justin Timberlake as the celebs first group dance. Calling it now.

Highly unlikely, but I'd LOVE to see 'Go Robot' by Red Hot Chili Peppers (on their brilliant new album The Getaway) to be used for a Tango.

I'd also like them to use Tove Lo's new one 'Cool Girl'.

Royal Blood's 'Little Monster' would be good for Halloween week, not sure what dance it would suit but does that even matter?

And finally, seeing as they like going for songs connected with the celeb in the early weeks, I think Scissor Sisters' 'Laura' could be a good one for Miss Whitmore.

On the subject of Halloween week, I was surprised Black Magic didn't turn up for a salsa or cha-cha last year, so it probably will this year.

Are there any songs with Judge in the title, or some kind of law theme, for Robert since that's surely inevitable? Similarly, any political/money themed songs for Ed? (I'm calling "Jump For My Love" for Greg's cha-cha right now...)

They've already used 'I Fought The Law' for Judy Murray but it could resurface. Blue's 'All Rise' could be a good bet for Judge Rinder.

'Money Money Money' for Ed maybe?

Oh and I've thought for a while that 'I Can't Dance' by Genesis would be great for one of the, er, less naturally gifted celebrities!

Sorry I assumed you'd looked at the red carpet discussion thread. It mentions some segments they recorded yesterday for the launch show including part of an opening routine...

The red carpet event was filmed yesterday and is on iplayer now, apparently it'll be on the red button channel tomorrow night as well.
