One thing I've always wondered is what companions would work well with other Doctors in some imaginary world where actors don't age.

I always felt Liz Shaw would have made a very complimentary companion to the Ninth Doctor as she would have added a nice "ying and yang" touch to contrast Eccleston's more working class Doctor.

The Twelfth Doctor and Jamie McCrimmon would make the perfect team of scots.

The Third Doctor and Donna would be entertaining, simply to see Pertwee's Doctor struggle to assert authority over her.

The Second Doctor with Sarah Jane Smith would have been wonderful; I don't think they really interacted in The Five Doctors.

Finally, the First Doctor with Adric, just to see him teach that boy some manners.

Further ideas?

Ninth doctor and Donna would be an interesting one to see. Talk about a fiery pairing.

Also Tenth and Amy pond. Can't explain why but I think they'd have been interesting together.

Also, seeing 12 with literally anyone who isn't Clara (gladly we will get that eventually).



Also, imagine the craziness of seeing a 'written in keeping with 60's values' doctor like the 1st meeting up with an proudly camp, openly bisexual character like captain jack .

12 & Ace/Dorothy

1st and Ace- I think it would be hilarious to see that relationship

2nd and Sarah- I actually see them working really well

3rd and Adric- Would have worked well in the stuck on Earth time

4th and Donna- Now those would have been crazy times

5th and Jamie- I can see a bromance at work between them

6 and Leela- Quite a violent crew this would have been

7 and Captain Jack- Great combo i think

8 and Martha- It could work

9 and Zoe- Because they are complete opposites

10 and Peri- If you want to be more human, you have Peri now.

11 and Ben and Polly- Must have both of them, a bit similar to Rory and Amy but would work

12 and Romana- The banter would be high

Those 60's values probably wouldn't last.
