Is he not raising the ground floor and getting rid of the ceiling making it all one?

Would be easier just to make those big windows smaller.

I absolutely liked that kitchen they showed in the beginning, with the orange chairs and the lovely lights.

It would - i always find it strange that people buy properties to live in that are old shops etc. Those big shop windows are awful and really hard to change without spending huge money.

You would feel like one of those living art installations with everyone looking in your windows all the time.

I'm hoping for the presenter/architect to come up with some 're-purposing' ideas to save money.

He did that a lot last series.

It's Brian May and Rick Wakeman tonight. All we need is an Elton John lookalike and they can start a tribute band.

These houses are nothing like the owners homes - why are they showing them - their homes will not end up like this!

Yep, there's one near me, and it looks awful.

Couldn't they sub-divide the windows, and then do something 'arty' with frosted glass or something?

It's just to get ideas for their own places.
