I remember a a student wallpapering paneldoors of small rooms like the toilet with aluminum foil to create space. It worked really well.

Not sure about the plywood flooring either. It looks like something you would put down as an underlay.

I have plywood flooring and it holds up very well. I've had mud stains, spilt tea and other things on it. I treated it with mineral oil after laying it. The only thing I've done is re-sanded one bit in the hallway that had red wine spilt on it before it was oiled.

It's 1000 times better than laminate.

Latest one with orange Windows was ok.
My question is about these budgets. They are all modest budgets with big ideas and end up going way, way over. When are we going to have a programme where the budget is not exceeded?

You would be hard pushed to find a building project where they keep within budget.
