When she gave that interview the rumours WERE offensive to her and Sean's relationship. Something then happened which caused their relationship to break down - you nor anyone else on here, knows exactly how, why or when - and she is now with Giovanni.

It does not make that interview any less true AT THE TIME IT WAS GIVEN. Georgia is just unfortunate (in regards to that interview) that things then turned out the way they did.

And just a thought on why your earlier post got deleted - if you weren't so rude about other forum members it might not have happened. Just because we are GG fans it does not make our opinions any less valid than of those who dislike them. Our opinions are no more biased than yours or indeed her other 'haters'! It is totally unnecessary to tell other forum members to stop wasting their time replying to us.

None of us know the facts and none of us really know what happened. Your opinions have no more truth in them than ours. Only difference is, I can give my opinion without being rude or nasty, to/about people I don't know!

It's a flipping entertainment show. Nothing more. Quite honestly decent celebrities are going to want to steer clear of the venom.

I didn't particularly care either way when I read that G and G were a couple other than feeling rather sorry for Sean. That was until Sean's reputation was publically attacked. Whatever happened between them why would Georgia want that? And she clearly did or she could have put rumours to rest with a short social media message.

Being prepared to stand by as her ex's reputation was slandered is vindictive in my view whatever happened 'behind closed doors' which is repeated as a mantra on here it seems. For his part Sean wins my respect for not responding to the whole media circus.

They were always going to be papped during the tour. They didn't have to drape themselves off each other, noone walks around like that not even teen couples! Georgia was happy to rub Sean's nose in it and doesn't appear to have much appreciation for the support he and his family gave her.

Exactly. I found her fairly bland/forgettable during the show but now I actually think she is hard as nails. Dumping the "inconvenient boyfriend" who was a "rock" during the show for someone else who can, I assume she believes, further her career is not particularly edifying.

If she wanted someone to boost her career I would have thought there were better bets than a new pro dancer, Craig? Bruno? I would suggest Jay but from what I gather ( from the other thread) he's on a gay frolic in Italy, possibly with Bruno, maybe Aliona's husband or whoever they've moved onto since I last had a read, it's quite entertaining!

Yes, the Jay rumours are fairly bonkers I agree! On a more serious note, I completely agree with the posts about the slurs against Sean - implying he was in any way abusive is seriously unpleasant and the "but they're a young couple in love" argument does not in any way excuse that. Not in my book anyway.

Just had a thought; Anton would have a much better career boost for Georgia, he's established, must have a few bob by now, done a few bits on telly, own touring show, the Fail would lap it up, I can see the headlines now.

Maybe the full story will never be told which is probably for the best!! Best to let it go & all move on, as they all seem to have done!!

My opinion of Georgia, her character & her relafionships is probably just about the polar opposite to either of your's so it's unlikely that any amount of debating is going to change that!!

Anton's tour is coming to my neck of the woods very soon so I will have to do some stalking outside of the theatre and see whether Georgia turns up. Then the true story will at last be out!!

You are so insistent that all the things said are rumours. You don't know that. I don't know that. I'd hardly say his reputation was slandered (not by her anyway.) All Georgia has said is the fans don't know the truth about what happened - which is true.
Sean could also put the 'rumours' to rest by giving a short social media interview.

Hard as nails is right I think. I found it odd on the show how as a woman in her twenties who has worked in TV since she was a kid she was happy to go along with the 'Georgia is just a girl blossoming in to a young woman' storyline. She seemed to really play on that though I see a tough cookie who'll do what she can to further her career. She's a good dancer though (if a little overhyped on the show) and would have been remembered for that if she'd kept her personal relationships private.

I thought there was a tabloid article involving Georgia and Anton hugging at one point, or was that the love quadrangle she was meant to be involved in with Jay.

I think the quadrangle was her, Sean, Gio and Jay.

Anton was a rumour started from an 'intimate hug' at the wrap party. It's still one of my favourite articles. I love Anton but 'strictly hunk'? Lol

If 'something happened' between Georgia and Sean it could simply be she got the hump because he told her a few home truths.

I've said it so many times, calling someone controlling with no foundation is actually very serious and I would call that slanderous to his character when posters put that in writing on the internet. Which is very different to gossiping with a family member at home.

I think that sums her up well. She's not the first (nor will she be the last) tough cookie in the show business world but pretending to be a sweet and innocent young thing - especially given her shoddy treatment of Sean and his family - is risible.
