A woman is in tears and he's more concerned with a broken glass.. a woman is dying and he is more concerned whether his wife hears her say "i love you!".. spineless coward !!

I'd love to debate this with you but the title pretty much says it all. 'Weasel' is the perfect word for him too.

But that was covered by 'weasel'. Or is that unfair to weasels?

Hopefully, Tess's rather tasty widowed husband will make Paddy suffer.

It's the least that he deserves.

I suppose but it's hard to stop when you're describing Paddy Scoundrel, wretch and rogue now that feels satisfying

I've never really taken to Paddy especially when he's with his bezzie friend Marlon,an equally annoying character with his over exaggerated facial expressions and attempted humour which for some reason really really makes me dislike him...

back to Paddy..like I said I've never really cared that much about him but since this affair has come out boy is he selfish, nasty little b*gger who has thought of no one except him self,.....I cannot wait for the fallout

He'll have loved it. IMHO, the whole affair was a mid life crisis attempt to boost his own ego. He was liking the attentions of another woman.

Seeing that she chose to bonk him when she had a good looking hubby at home will primp him up even further.

Rhona will probably forgive him as she is desperate to adopt a baby.

Poor Aaron - his real dad was a scoundrel and his step-dad (sort of) is almost as bad

More like poor Rhona and Tess's husband. And being a cheat is nowhere near as bad as being a child molester.

Takes two to tango, but only the man can be blamed, seems to be the rule for having affairs on here.

I'm happy to blame Tess as well - she was a selfish caaaahhh, and a nutjob to boot, though not exactly deserving of being squished by Kirin.

I think the reason I blame Paddy more though in this one is because he could have said no. He wasn't in an unhappy marriage, he loves Rhona, and she loves him. Tess didn't have any doubts, she was miserable and had pretty much written off her marriage, she was just moving on. But Paddy was trying to have his cake and eat it - nice comfy life at home with Rhona, and his leg over with Tess in the back lane (not a euphemism). He treated them both like crap really. Also, I just can't stand Paddy, he's a weak pathetic cowardly man-child, and I hope Piers/Pierce/Peas/Hot bereaved hubbie will run him over in the very car he shagged Tess in.

Wonder if they'll find out she was pregnant when she died too? That'd throw another spanner in the works.

Oh well the affairs definitely over now, so everyone can get back to as they were before it started.

The criticism is aimed at the weasely way Paddy dealt with the affair, the aftermath and Tess's death not the affair itself.

Tess wanted to come clean and be with Paddy As unbelievable as that is at least it wasn't weasely.

I agree with you. Tess probably would have left her husband for Paddy, she seemed to be looking for something new to replace her husband, not be in addition to...Paddy just wanted both Rhona and Tess to stay as they were. The wife he loves at home to make happy families with and the bit on the side for fun and ego boosting.
