The Sun has cancelled Striker again. In a very poor show, they only gave author Pete Nash four days notice. It will appear online for at least another two months - but they've not been very reliable getting the strips online promptly. Needless to say Pete isn't happy and is considering his options.

Not just Striker. Hagar the Horrible has been dropped as well - The Sun's comics page is no more.

Can you blame them?

like someone so eloquently put..

But fast forward ten years and the world is a different place. Since 2000 the number of paper sales around the world has fallen 85% due to papers going online.

it is ALL about the internet and digital age these days.

The Sun's comics page is no more.
Surely the rest of the paper makes up for it?

It will return in the Sun and also a motion comic version on Youtube on Monday.
