Was just looking to see if someone had put up a thread about 'Trapped' on BBC 4 tonight. Thank you.
From what information is available, the story line looks good.

Me too! Was just checking Listings for tonight, and planning my evening's viewing!

Will be my first taste of Icelandic Scandi Noir.

Icelandic detective film Jar City was shown on BBC4 back in 2011 as part of a week of programmes about Iceland. Coincedentally, the lead actor in the film, Ingvar Eggert Siguršsson also appears in Trapped

Also looking forward to this - though to be pedantic Iceland isn't part of Scandinavia. It's more properly Nordic Noir.

A very quick trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FsSNjrscwpI

I came here to read any thoughts/views on Trapped. Just googled it instead (whilst avoiding any plotline whatsoever). iMdb rates it 7.7 (191 votes) and UK magazine "The Week" says it was an instant hit in Iceland and France and highly recommends it.

I'm not wishing to increase an expectations, including my own, but i am definitely watching it.

Alison Graham, who is a good judge of a programme, gives it a very positive review in this week's Radio Times, so that's good enough for me!!

Looks like my Saturday night tv is sorted for the next 5 weeks (if BBC4 are showing 2 episodes each Saturday)

That's a pretty good rating for IMDb, I'm looking foward to it.

Thank you for the heads-up Verence.

Looks very promising.

I have persuaded Mr M to watch despite his aversion to subtitles.

If the series is good he usually enjoys it anyway.

I am really looking forward to this it looks like a top quality thriller - ideal for viewing in the dead of night.

I have recorded it to watch later in the week.

Jar City was excellent as well.

He was in Borgen too.

Good opening episode. I'm going to save the second for tomorrow so I can switch to MOTD.

It wasn't bad, but I wasn't that impressed.
Not up to the standard of Happy Valley, or Shetland and neither of those have been without some criticisms on here.

I'm not sure that I can last ten episodes of this.

Iceland and Denmark have a frosty relationship it seems

Must be a hellish place to live in winter.

Enjoyed that.

Things really picking up by the end of episode 2.

I rather enjoyed that. Was a pleasant way to spend almost two hours.

I'll be back for more.

Well the time certainly didn't drag and I felt the need to turn up the thermostat a couple of degrees!

Only started watching on a whim, but it got me hooked. The kids are a pair of little witches though, aren't they?

Makes the weather in Copenhagen look positively tropical.

They certainly are. Poor little Maggi - I really hope he is okay and found himself somewhere safe to shelter.
