3 data reward

Has anyone tried this out yet?

http://store.three.co.uk/view/search...y?tariff=20804

A few months ago I posted about wanting a PAYG data SIM where I could load it up with some credit and could use it (cheaply) on an ad-hoc basis without having to pay £10 for a 30 day addon, and I wanted to use a 3-2-1 SIM but 3 block tethering/mifi usage on newer ones. For me it was as an automatic backup to a wired internet connection if it went down

It seems like this is the solution - and officially approved, too. 1p/MB once you go over the free 200MB unless you buy an addon (which is where there's a slight catch, because you can't buy the cheap addons anymore - £15/2GB is the lowest, £25/10GB is the highest - but I guess that's why you can pay 1p/MB)

I am waiting my sim after getting the run about trying to chance tariff to the Data reward PAYG and raising a complaint with CS (card isn't completable) seems to good to be true 1p a MB and you get 200mb a month free and keep any top-up credit till used but must make a charged something or top up every 180 days
I am not bothered about data package add-ons as 1p a mb is about same as £10 a gig (24mb less)

That is one of these mobile broadband data sims, and this particular plan just happens to allow you to to do 3-2-1 on it.

And you can use the sim in a mifi device.

The 3GB PAYG plan which you must use within 3 months only allows you to send SMS text messages, but they are charged at 10.2p each. Likewise with the 12GB PAYG plan which you must use within 12 months.

This certainly better than the All In One 10 with more than double the data (excluding additional bonus data on both) if all you want is data and on any device you like.

But I would pay just a few quid more (just 2.50 more in fact) for 6 times more data with an EE 4GEE data sim sold at Amazon, and you have 3 months to use it. You can still use a 3-2-1 PAYG sim from three to make calls and send texts.
