What a great episode.
I loved the episode.

Robert defending Chas to Aaron.
Aaron angry at Chas.
Aaron giving Chas an ultimatum.

Chas.. no. She started off good.
Aaron didnt want this.

Poor Aaron.

For once Emma is making sense, I know she's not to be trusted because she's a psycho but she almost never lies when it's about medical stuff or things related to them.

I know Aaron doesn't understand right now. but good on Chas for being honest, if it were me I'd want everyone to know, the shame got the best of me and I only told a few people when I got the chance to do it but If I could do it again I'd tell everyone about it.

I don't like this Aaron.
I think aaron had the right toi control his own situation. Nobody has the right to be telling people, especially strangers (as in not close family/friends) really apart from him. He came back from the break to clear his head only to walk literally straight into a whole pub knowing Gordon is an abuser and probably speculating it's him he abused. I think he had a right to be fuming and take control of the situation.

I don't blame Chas. I would do the same if Doug the self-righteous said the same to me.

Poor Aaron, although I can see why Chas did what she did, but it was Aaron's choice if he wanted people to know or not.

Paddy.......is just getting beyond a joke now.....Rhona is bitter because you CHEATED on her.....

Please don't let Gabby lead Jacob astray, there needs to be a least one "normal" and stable teen on the show esp if Liv is about to make an appearance.

A fab ep all in all, and MUCH better than it expected.

I liked how it was Robert stood behind Chas with Aaron How is nobody asking what's going on there? He's totally involved with it

He'll be grateful in the future, the shame abuse victims feel sometimes doesn't let us see things clearly, and we fail to let everyone know about the dangers lurking around us. I didn't want anyone to know either but my mum told people anyway and they turned against my abuser like I wanted them to but I was ashamed to tell them, so I while I completely understand Aaron, Chas is doing the right thing here.

The two private videos in the Robron YouTube playlist are still private while videos have been uploaded for today... I guess they're for tomorrow or Thursday then!

There are times when she seems to go out of her way to humiliate Aaron. Can't you just imagine the embarrassment for Aaron with everyone sitting there gaping at him. Even Robert was lost for words.

I totally agree with you. This is not about whether or not Aaron should be ashamed or if Gordon should be exposed but who has the right to tell. That isn't Chas. I thought it was infantilizing and far too much detail about Aaron personal mental state. Some people are more comfortable expressing their emotions in public than others. People should be respected for what they want and who they are.

Danny Miller was fantastic in that last scene with his voice cracking with the emotion of it all.

The only thing i would have liked is for Robert to have gone after Aaron at the end there. But we know Robert talks to him tomorrow so it's fine.

Respect that but everyone's different. I think at the very least many people in Aaron's position would want to make their own decision about others knowing and to do it on their own terms.

Way, way off topic I know but just had to rage at somebody about how sexist that Kinder Surprise advert is!!!!!! Gggggrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!

Back on topic:

what a fantastic episode - could see both Chas and Aaron's point of view (I don't think I'd have been able to say that Gordon was innocent either but can also understand why Aaron was so upset and angry - expect he felt really let down, maybe even betrayed by her!!)

Was it Kate Oates idea to put Robron together because it was GENIUS! I don't care what she has done since.......don't know whether she knew the potential of Robron back then but Danny and Ryan having amazing chemistry obv helps but out of an affair and all the stuff that's been thrown at them they have ended up being a super couple that are adored.....who knew that this time last year!!!
Kate Oates made many mistakes but putting those 2 actors together was an act of pure genius. She threw together 2 of Soapland's most complicated and most troubled characters and the results are magical. Well done to her.

Robert's got Aaron's back ok

If there's a paedophile, someone who not only abuses but rapes children, everyone should know who he is and what's he's done, keeping quiet about it only gives the rapist a reason to keep doing what he's doing.
