If Ryan is a false witness, I assume this is what we're supposed to be mad at Robert for?

I was saying it was unlikely for a witness to turn up without publicity. It is in character for Rob to do this. His transformation from sinner to saint was a bit too fast. I like they have kept that about him: his threat to Gordon about leaving or he would make him was also in character. People were saying how passive Aaron is but Rob is very proactive and the difference between them is what will bring on the drama.

The trouble is, what with the antics of Chas and Cain, a false witness (Ryan, no doubt), the police might well believe this is just a campaign of hatred against Gordon. We know that is not true, but we know what soap police are like.

It also annoys me that it was Chas and Cain who more or less bullied Aaron in going o the police now they want him to dropit.Also, of course, Aaron will remember that it was Robert who encouraged him to tell Chas.

Though I quite like Robert, I always wish he had confided in Adam - provided they didn't do anything silly (i.e. criminal)

It seems obvious that Ryan is a false witness. Especially as in Inside Soap, George says about "how he's involved with Robert and Aaron is a secret for now". If he's a proper witness, why would he be involved with Robert? I mean yes, Robert is Aaron's support system but surely Robert wouldn't be involved enough to be mentioned.

As Ryan appears outside Gordon's house next week when Chas is there spray painting Gordon's car, I presume this isn't someone Robert knows previously and instead a neighbour.

But how funny is it his name is Ryan? That could become confusing while talking on here

Wow the spoilers are great massive Robron week again so much coming up.
How am I suppose to get through this week? Especially when kids have broken up from school so I'm in for along week lol

Sorry but Roberts melting my heart.. the support he's giving is amazing, I know he messes up big time, but he's just desperate to help get Gordon put away it's obviously killing him seeing Aaron fall apart.
So intrigued to what there serious talk is about, it looks very serious between them.

Lazy story telling. The Emmerdale writers just want to keep up the tensions/conflicts between Andy and Robert, Andy and Bernice and Bernice and Chrissie.

Just caught up on all the spoilers, wow, lots to come!! Think it's pretty obvious that it will be Sandra who comes through for Aaron in the end helping to get Gordon sent down. Wonder how long it will be before all this goes to trial?? Also, if Sandra does testify against Gordon, how long is a trial likely to last - are we talking weeks/months? Think Liv will probs end up staying with Aaron for a while after the trial if Sandra is punished for knowing and not saying anything. Really looking forward to seeing their relationship develop, the Danny interview about her was lovely, think we will see another side to Aaron to make our hearts melt even more!

As for Chrissie and Andy - ppttffhh, don't care in the slightest! Everyone has had everyone else in that village anyway, it's just their turn i guess!

The only thing i don't like about Chrissie/Andy is how Robert will react. We all know that he's pretty much over Chrissie and moved on (to Aaron) but if theres one thing that will bring things up and bring up jealousy is Andy getting involved with her. That wouldn't be good for us at all.

I knew this was coming & said couple of weeks ago, that I will not be pleased if things go backwards & we have a jealous Robert.
He's moved on from Chrissie that's obvious but Andy getting close to Chrissie I can't see him taking that well.
I don't think it will be because of her as much but rather the fact that his brother has taken his cosy little life he once had. Either way it will be annoying to watch Rob jealous over it. Hope he doesn't give a toss tbh.

Yes there was.He was spoiled yes but that's a lot to do with how his dad treated him etc.He lost his mother and that's massive and would have had a big effect on him.He maybe was given material things but that was probably compensation for not having his mother and I bet he would rather have had her ! He maybe appeared to be older because of all that-it can do that to people.Also his dad let him off with things and never made him face up to things properly-again over-compensating.They could have redeemed him a lot with making him be a decent man and dad and providing for Vanessa and Johnny but because the actor was leaving they wrote him out,pretty poorly as well

So Sandra's reason for not wanting to support Aaron is because she knows she'll be incriminated and probably at fault also in the eyes of the law, and will use Liv as a way of justifying her decision I'd presume. Then during the trial, she'll turn up and save the day, end up spending a few months in jail in which Liv will go to live with Aaron.

Then fastforward a few months when Sandra gets out and Liv will want to stay with Aaron which ends up with her staying with Chas/Aaron (or the Dingles).
