Just to check - how much of the scrapyard does Robert own and it's his only, nothing to do with the Whites?

This was a lie to bluff Robert into giving up. Robert had phoned up to check the contract had gone through.”

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction, I just watched it again and he said his share not his half. Which fits with Lawrence giving him shares when he made him director, which is the impression I had. Half would be overly generous even for an old fool like Lawrence

unrelated but Chrissie also has a dig about having to watch him swan around the village with a new man on his arm while they foot the bill and he just brushed it off lol

That said Chrissie and Robert have their own business interests (including Chrissie's Salon's over which I presume Robert has some claim as her husband) Back in the summer just before Chrissie blew up the village () she gave Robert a very big cheque for his half of their business and personal assets as some form of marriage settlement but he said he didn't want it, he wanted her (eyeroll) Lawrence business is an entirely separate and Chrissie doesn't have any authority to be handing out cheques for half it's worth.

I've got friends coming round at 6:30pm, is it really bad that i'd rather watch Emmerdale? I know i'll be slyly checking my phone when i 'pop to the loo' for updates!

He invested 10 grand don't know what that is as a percentage but Adam and Aaron I think own the largest share so it's their buisness, Robert is just a silent investor. It does have White connections, remember Lawrence invested £5,000 when Aaron won his buisness enterprise award

Eric has a ?% in the scrapyard, Adam had to give him an incentive for keeping him quiet about using it near his house.....!

Well remembered! I had forgotten all about that, so that is Eric, Robert, Lawrence, Aaron and Adam. Can't be much money to go around once it has been divided up between all that lot lol

I'm pretty sure Eric has literally like... 1 or 2%. Lawrence didn't invest (I believe anyway), he just donated 5k to them, so has no ownership or investment in the company (and probably why he's never said anything post-affair about it).

Didn't Robert and Aaron discuss the ins and outs of Lawrence competition before they shagged in the portakabin and it was summarised as him chucking money at it and taking a share of the profits? if he takes a share of the profits that means it is invested not donated. Also it was seeing Robert's cheque for the profits of his investment that gave Lawrence the idea to ask Aaron to enter.

The whole thing was a plot device probably never to be mentioned again lol

Eric owns a 5% share int'scrapyard (randomly saw this episode over the weekend), and Lawrence's £5,000 was a competition prize so didn't buy him anything (except good publicity and will). Not sure how large a percentage Robert's £10,000 bought (don't think it's ever been specified) but would imagine it's probably 25%, which would leave both Aaron and Adam with a 35% share.

I'm pretty sure the competition was a donation type situation. I think the whole profits thing was just to show off how successful they were at the time. Why would anyone enter a competition where they would lose some control/profits of a company they already own.

That's it! 5% I thought it was but wasn't sure.....

Lawrence just gave an award which Aaron was going to use on a car crusher - but did this ever happen!?

Not sure what if any Robert takes ££ wise, after all it was only a way (in the beginning) for them to meet up without raising too many suspicions!

Ask anyone who has ever entered the Dragon's Den

Seeking investors is common in business, their money is invested in the company which helps it grow and increases the profits, hopefully by enough that any percentage lost is negligible. £5,000 isn't a lot of money and would only amount to a small share but enough to buy that crusher Aaron wanted that would allow them to do more scrapping and make more money.

Kerry's version of events of what's been happening was interesting......since when had The Police been round when Aaron went to the Station!?

She wasn't wrong about Cain (almost) killing Gordon though

Kerry's quite perceptive isn't she? she pretty much figured out the gist of everything that's happening with the dingles just from watching from afar
