Absolutely, if they can't stand a character the way some hate Aaron and Danny Miller they should just stop watching. They must have noticed that Danny is a popular character and actor and ED isn't going to drop him.

Yeah but the same could be said about Ross-lots of people on here really dislike him but they don't stop watching.They also must have noticed that he is a popular character who they won't drop either.I don't know why people get upset about things like that.Everyone has their own favourites and non-favourites lol.Each to their own I say

You know what if Ross had a storyline like Aaron's I would feel bad for him. Especially if it were played well by Michael Parr. I don't like some of the things that the character has done and feel he is over used, but I don't hate the actor. If I did hate a major soap character so much that I not even multiple rapes could move me, I would stop watching. That would mean the soap powers that be had failed utterly from my stand point, so why would I torture myself by continuing to watch?

I used to watch HO and one day I decided the character of Ste was so annoying to me, I just stopped watching. I have nothing against Keiron Richardson but I couldn't stand watching that character any more and Ste is one of HO main faces so I stopped tuning in.

As far as Adam is concerned John was his real dad and always will be, and trust Holly to put her foot in it - on day one as well!

That nonsense, and even the sound of the dreadful woman's voice warbling My Way again, with Eric suddenly dashing to the khasi a few times, typifies Thursday's doubles for me 8 weeks out of 10. Eric probably has a water infection, or possibly the start of a kidney stone with frequent micturation like that, but it will be blown up as some massive disease. Of course, men of Eric's age often get a benign enlarged prostate as well, which leads to a frequent need to ........ well, you know.

On the plus side, I have to say that I preferred Charity's attitude to Robert and other customers more than Chas - and I don't like her character - at least she showed a bit of humour. I also enjoy the way you can believe Moira's little brood is a real family, and Adam's forgiving nature. Can't say I enjoy Holly's impression of "Orville's" voice and I have to wonder why they bothered to bring the little druggie back.

The most horrific scene for me was the opener with a toothless April standing over Paddy and Marlon - that's the stuff nightmares are made of!. I am sure April usd to have more teeth than that? - perhaps she plays rugby for the Hotton XV

Well, poor old Jimmy. I would think twice before even getting him to do a few odd jobs. I know Nicola is in charge now, but I suspect a decent offer could persuade her to give her share up. I suppose they might merge the haulage and the scrap business - that would make a good tie up, and it would keep Aaron, Adam and Robert together (though I don't know why, but I am still worried about Adam's future)

I got a personal message from one of the MF regulars the other day telling me in no uncertain terms what they thought of the actor, not the character of Aaron. it was quite abusive and ended with the words don't bother replying as I will ignore you, he or she was apparently upset because I had praised DMs acting in a particular scene a week or so ago. I think that board is made up of rather bitter and twisted actors who never progressed from school plays.

That's horrible. I have to say I have never seen anything like that happen with any other character or actor. Its well beyond just I don't like the character stuff. I don't know even what to say about someone who send you a personal message about you liking Danny Miller.

All the time, sadly - a monotone for every scene. I'd rather have April or LIv's acting than her attempts (God what am I saying!)

I'm already seeing posts again from certain Robert haters that have been very quiet these past few months, now they've come back out all because Robert showed happiness last night with the money situation & these people think he's showing his true colours again.. he doesn't care about anything other than money, knew he hadn't changed at all I'm not even getting started.
Robert was totally txting Aaron at the bar yesterday.. I refuse to believe anything else

Thought we agreed to 'keep what happens on the main thread on the main thread'??? I'd really appreciate it if we could get back to that, pretty please with an Easter egg mountain on top.

I haven't been on the main or daily threads for a little while now because (especially with the daily one) I've become more than a little disturbed by the casual cruelty that seems, to me, to be displayed on there. It's as if some people can't help but make really crass, distasteful and (in some cases) downright insensitive jokes/comments about storylines/ characters which I find really hard to read. I'm sure they'd argue they're only joking and don't really mean it (and the amount of smilies would seem to support that) and I know I am particularly sensitive (my job involves an acute awareness of how powerful words can be, which makes me extremely careful about what I say, and even more so what I put down on paper/the screen = you have more time, you should do a better job!) and I realise that we are (for the most part) talking about fictional characters on a TV show but I still find it really hard to read when I think about how someone who is in that situation (being/looking after someone who has dementia, being someone who was experienced abuse, being someone who has lost someone and who has been devastated by the grief etc) might feel/react if they were to read them, so I have stopped doing it. Which might be the best thing that everybody on here who gets so riled up by the main/daily threads can do - there really is enough in life that gets us stressed/upset that we just can't avoid, so whenever there is something I can do that reduces other avoidable trigger points I tend to try and do it.
And I DO realise that I've been mega-hypocritical here - asking people not to talk about other threads on here and then doing exactly that - but I hope you will (at least) understand why and (hopefully) forgive me for it.

Oh come on Danny dyer can't act, even can't even string to sentences together in English!

I come here for Aaron and Robert, Danny and Ryan if I wanted to read the MF or know what was happening on there I would read the MF.

What I don't understand about these posters on the main forum (never wrote there thank god), is that they seem to just criticise EVERYTHING about the show (and it's not even constructive criticism either). If you asked them which characters they like, they probably wouldn't be able to give you an answer. It's like they have to analyse every single detail and scrutinise it to a pulp.

Now I know, understandably, SOME will have their favourite characters & SOME will have characters they'll despise, but some of the comments are just not on. Like there's one who describes Aaron as "Waaaaaaron" because he cries a lot of the time. Oh I'm sorry. I didn't know he wasn't allowed to cry after going through one of the most awful ordeals any human being can go through, especially a child. You may not like a character, but comments and name-calling like that do make me angry.

Then, when Robron fans do comment on there about that they can understand why people who don't like Robert (because of the numerous stuff he's done), they just continue to have a go even though they've been told on so many occasions that we know that there's always two sides; liking it or not.

One poster in particular (who I won't name) is pretty much everything I've discussed. He/she literally has a go at everything. I can't begin to imagine exactly what he/she wants from the show. Probably finding someone sat in the cafe drinking a coffee for the whole 30 mins would be up his/her alley. Even then, he/she would still find a way to moan about something.

Needed to get that off my chest.

I think some of us just get frustrated with the stuff we see, so come on here & vent about it.. no we shouldn't draw attention too it at all, but I think it's just something we like to get off our chests with the people that are there biggest fans & obviously don't agree with the stuff said.

I've got a feeling that Charity is going to have Robert's back when Aaron & Robert's relationship gets back on track. They seem to be on the same wavelength as each other.

See I don't go on to the MF, if I come across anything negative it's usually just in general like twitter, tumbler or YT I don't go looking for it,, otherwise it will just frustrate me & you can't reason with these daft people.

I previously said i thought Robron could get back together pre-trial because of the hand holding as i thought it was a bit too boyfriendy...well i no longer think that.

We know they aren't getting back together pre trial though because Iain MacLeod has confirmed it is the out come of the trial (or pay off as he said) that determines what happens next for them. A pre trial reunion was never on the table.

No doubt this is some kind of "hint" that you have seen the spoilers and know something but I felt it needed pointing out that it was never an option anyway.

That's interesting, i wonder how so? I suppose if it's a positive outcome Aaron might be more open to starting a relationship.

One thing is for sure, i do often wonder if the writers are on roller-coasters at Alton Towers when they are writing Robron scripts.

I think 'pay off from the trial' will be whatever Robert says about Aaron when he takes the stand (if indeed he does)

I think mid may for a reunion. We've waited this long so why not

Iain has been pretty clear on his feelings for them and what he wants for them, trouble is his stories and scripts don't kick in until June, from now until the end of may we are still at KO's mercy

And i do think the jealousy is pivotal. People don't like to talk about it/hear about it but if you take away the opinions of fans/viewers and look at the characters/story, i think it's clear that it might be an issue for Aaron. Aaron has been up and down attitude wise with Robert enough without adding him thinking that he's jealous of Chrissie having another relationship and thinking he can't trust Robert as much as he thought or that he might not be as devoted as he says he is.
