What a terrible timeslot. I doubt 5 will even show the final season now, they obviously don't want people watching.
As for Season 5 apparently it was written with the possibility that it would be the final season so luckily there will be no unresolved cliffhangers |

Oh it gets even worse, I've heard that after next week it moves to midnight.

I have not watched the latest two episodes yet - I like to really relax when watching them.

I have found another source for this purely because, between my partner and I, there are too many programmes on a Monday night already. Yes, we have Tivo, but with other programmes and trying to watch same night to avoid spoilers It would be a heck of a late night.
With Ch5 treating programmes like this it's no wonder people turn to other sources. Heck, last week I tried watching Weeks eps a day later on my laptop while OH was watching football, but my5 wouldn't play them. Hence me finding alternative source. Then there's last years missing episode debacle. Thanks Ch5 for introducing me to this show, but it seems I have more commitment than you. |

And most people I know do the same. I record so many things that are on at the same time, would be impossible to keep up otherwise. |

In this day and age, I can't see that it really matters what time slot it has.

I see we are only getting a single episode next week,is it going to be a mid season finale and we will have to wait months again for it to continue or is it a one off?

To me it's the principle of the thing. It just demonstrates that C5 don't really care about the show

edit: not helped by TV land having no such thing as 'after next week'. |

this isn't even on my planner anymore ...are they on midseason break
I hate the way C5 treat this show ...I missed about 8 episodes of this last season (I record and binge watch) so was a bit lost when samirtan started up (I watched the first couple of episodes ) im thinking of just buying boxsets of every season so far |

For some reason, have never ever seen any of this, although in theory it's the kind of thing I like.
Watched a bit last night for the first time. Man, it was boring. |

I think the presenter said something about the timeslot being changed just for next week so if it returns to the 'usual' (as it were) time the week after, maybe that will allow two episodes again. Or I'm just being way too optimistic...
edit: not helped by TV land having no such thing as 'after next week'. Season 4 has 22 episodes so unless C5 are planning a repeat of the Episode 17 farce from last season there will have to be another one episode week at some point |

... the Episode 17 farce ...

Lets hope so but the series link has disappeared from next week's episode, let's hope it's just a glitch and it reappears.
![]() but I did see a 'thou shalt retune thy antiquated digital televideograph' message earlier on another channel which may or may not cause such hiccups even if supposedly unrelated.Or it's The Return Of The Curse Of The Fives - possibly just my recording habits but I was finding a while back that timers of any of the 'fives' would often disappear though I suspect that was a transmitter/mux thing rather than channel specific and annoyance prevented me from doing any logical testing. Swearing is easier. |

Another stunning couple of episodes.
So Anthony (Scarface) made his exit - he and Elias must be some of the most sympathetic gangsters in television history. That was also a poignant scene were he was remembering all of the (sexual?) abuse that they suffered. Dominic is in big trouble - Eli will really want blood now. The second episode was memorable for filling in more of Greer's backstory and Samaritan talking through the avatar a young boy to The Machine. Great stuff.

I was a little confused with the flashbacks for a while as the young Greer looked a lot like the male operative, and Blackwood looked and sounded a lot like the Greer from the present, obviously the 43 years time difference should have helped me |

I remember the disjointed feeling but can't remember if I ever got around to correcting it. A bit late now!

After one episode next week its back to a double bill the following week. If the double bills continue we should finish season four about the time season five starts in the US ( which Channel Five will probably show next year ).

it's annoying that CH5 have shoved the show to after 11pm slot... i suppose one could argue that , at least they are showing the show..... and that we should be thankful for small mercies..
I love Gotham, The 100, Agents of Shield etc and Longmire is coming up again shortly but this is epic stuff because you actually care about all of the characters involved - villains included. This is because they are all three dimensional and not cardboard cut outs as their stories develop throughout the series arc. This is unusual in all action shows of this type. Just look at the journey Lionel has been on since it began! I was really gutted when Joss and even when the old hardcase Hersh shuffled off this mortal coil in the last series as well. Roll on the next episode. |

Anyone else love Elias. I really enjoy the episodes he is in. There's an amazing performance there really. I admire an actor who can let you know how bad he his but do it in a subtle way. No over acting just an underrated performance.
