ITV's official website

If they are so concerned about their ratings why don't ITV make the Hell's kitchen website (http://www.***************/) just a little bit more dynamic?

Without any live streaming us hard core RTV viewers need more than a daily show which is 24 hours behind the times to keep our interest. And how do they expect people to care enough about the characters to pick up the phone and vote with so very little coverage?

A few more genuine 'news' stories on the website would be good to start with.

Dont forget Extra Portions that has a few live shots

And then there's Hells Kitchin Live (which was 2 hours delayed last night )

I guess the reason there is no live streaming is that the tight-wads do not want to continually monitor/transmit this.

I'm not sure streaming would suit this show. What do they do all day anyway? At least last year the contestants were given various tasks every morning - this year, apart from 2 signature dishes, we don't even see what they do all day in the highlights show.

Based on the live footage, which currently has around 40% of the actual speaking censored (such as answers to "whats the time chef?") and just involves them cleaning the kitchen, the midnight results and then them stuffing their faces with KFC upstairs, I guess the rest of the day is quite boring, albeit tiring for the contestants.

I'd have to agree with you - we don't see the contestants cook very much, unlike last year. Shame.

I know I know, but that's the whole point of RTV isn't it, watching people doing mundane things rather than performing for the cameras...

Agreed, the official site is cr*p. ITV seem to be throwing ratings away - the Stein stuff etc would have been a ratings-winner if it had been live.
