Breast Nest, Chest Rest.
Shelf Support is crappier than either of mine. In my humble opinion. |

I agree. At least your suggestions sound comfortable unlike a right angle bracket!

I'm not sure where to put this but it might be more fun here.
M & S have re-branded their 'Secret Support' sleep wear as 'Shelf Support' For those that don't know, these are sleep garments with an inner stretch bit designed to keep the boobs sort of front and centre, rather than underarm or otherwise. Shelf support? ![]() What would you have called i? |

Humour aside for a minute, I think that bust shelf is the technical term that many manufacturers use for the item, not just M&S. AS somebody who has used catalogues for many years, it's a term you do see in, for example, the swimwear section, where the swimsuit has an added support film for your bust (a bust shelf). It's not a new term and not exclusive to M&S. http://www.ambrosewilson.com/shop/be...#colour:,size:
It's a ridiculous term. Bust support would be better. |

Or even bust rack?
![]() I can imagine there's a whole committee somewhere, many years ago, in the bust support industry , who had to come up with a term that wouldn't insult, would explain what it was without calling it a bra, and so on, probably many man hours went into deciding on a term. This was all they could come up with, they should be sacked

We really do need to find the correct name for this conical contraption because Boob is the perfect word and it's support structure needs to do it justice.
I will tell you why Boob is the perfect descriptive word. B = Top down view. oo = Front view. b = side view. |

Well I guess so, although I can imagine many women laughing at that as they peruse the clothing items, along with many other terms, including the one in the OP obviously

This one is inoffensive, mildly humourous and certainly memorable (not 'mammarable' before anyone suggests it! ) and I certainly don't recall any previous DS discussions mentioning the 'Secret Support'!Job done, I'd say!
