I'm relatively new to this forum, so apologies if you have had a "My pet is complete nutcase" thread before, but does anyone else experience anything approaching this weird nurturing? My six year old British Blue (Esther) who I have had since she was nine months old, seems to be absolutely convinced that I am a kitten and need taking care of.
Aside from sitting on the back of the couch "grooming" my hair, she constantly washes my hands, arms etc. That's not weird, I hear you cry. No, but this is:
Every morning, for the last three years I have opened my bedroom door to find precisely five cat biscuits lined up in front of it. We usually live alone but my son, on a visit home from uni, has witnessed her painstakingly carrying them one by one from her bowl in the kitchen. Anyway, since last week it has gone down to four, prompting me to wonder if the cheeky madam is trying to tell me I've put on weight?
