I own the above television which is in the bedroom and have noticed something strange happening at 3am in the morning, the TV seems to come out of standby but with no picture and the led on the front of the television flashes between red and green for a couple of minutes then the television reverts back to standby mode with a constant red led.
What's happening ?

A lot of equipment seems to be programmed to come on at that time, to check for updates etc..
If this is annoying, that option can usually be turned off. Instructions on how to do this might be with the equipment documentation, if not do an on-line search.

And if you can't find the appropriate setting in the menu to turn it off there is always the ultimate sanction, the good old fashioned mains plug! Just switch it off at the mains and then it won't be able to wake up.
