Yes.
About 100+ yards to the green I took an 8 iron to pitch and run.
It was in a comp and my opponent had walked the long way to the green to leave his trolley at the next tee - around some large bushes, so he didn't see my shot.
It bounced nicely and then ran and ran until it hit the flag post audibly and fell in.
I whooped to my opponent "I just holed it" and he shouted back "Yes, I just bloody heard it! - let's move on!"
