I'm very new to all this DLNA stuff so this might be silly question.
My setup:
Panasonic DMR PWT420 Bluray Player and HDD.
Connected to home router via ethernet cable.
Trying to view on MacBook Pro using VLC.
At the client end, VLC sees all the files fine. I see the full the titles that are on the HDD, exactly as expected. There are about 30 items, all but one recorded from the BBC.
The one item recorded from CH5 plays fine on VLC. And for some reason one solitary clip from the BBC does play.
However, with everything else, I get no response when I click via VLC. No error message, no window opens, nothing. Just the tiny Play button changes to Pause. But nothing actually plays.
Is there a different file browser/client I can use? What's preventing the files from playing?
