Internet on phone after 100gb EE SIM offer ends?
I've got a 100gb EE limited edition SIM. The second month of free data ended nearly 2 weeks ago. However, this evening, I noticed that I can access the internet on my phone while the SIM is in.
I went to the settings menu to see if the phone is connected to WiFi but it isn't. Also, when I phone 150 to check my balance, it says the remaining balance is £10 so I guess a data addon hasn't been added somehow. What could be the reason for this? |

EE PAYG SIMs used to get a 50MB starter allowance, which it might be. Perhaps the 100GB add-ons were used before the starter allowance? |

Go to http://add-on.ee.co.uk/status whilst using the EE network and it'll show what data allowance is in use and what's left. No logging in required.

EE can sometimes block access when you've still got data, and allow it when it is blocked. Just as content control can sometimes kick in when it has been turned off.
It's just one of those things! |

It happened to me as well with a regular PAYG sim. After the add-on had expired, I was able to still use data for about 3 weeks, I'm not kidding.
No credit was used. Must have been a glitch of some sort on their system. It ended at some point

I read on hotukdeals when people are ordering the free EE sims from EE there is an offer that the first £10 top up gives 100gb of data. Not as good as the 2 months but may keep people up and running until the next ones are realised.

Don't you mean 10GB of data?
The post: http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/ee-p...currys-2402079 has an image saying the expiry is 22nd Feb 2016, although someone in thread says it is actually 12th March 2016. I can't see any reference to it on EE's website though. |
