Farage should just give up his little LBC appearances. He just isn't very good unscripted and it is getting noticed.

Thoroughly enjoying them today and I'm not normally their biggest fan

Think I mentioned this yesterday. Farage was caught in a cleft stick. Should he totally distance himself from those with extreme views on race but if he did that then he would alienate a very fruitful source of votes.

Sorry. My initial reaction is to think that the columnist is making a lot of assumptions when using language like this:
"He was clearly a racist, if not a white supremacist. What exactly was there for Farage to be confused about?

It's a phone in show. It's Farage. At the very least the caller's intention was merely baiting. To say Farage implied anything other than a little confusion is a little far fetched.

Perhaps, a new start ?? No more continuous goading from one certain poster towards another ???

We all have our own views and constantly picking on another poster for their alternative thoughts.......surely, that is against the T's & C's

It certainly makes unhappy reading for me

Enjoy your Saturday, All x

Why should Farage be confused? He is UKIP leader and been dealing with questions for years. He knows his party has a sometimes undeserved reputation for attracting racists and he should be well prepared to deal with this.

I wonder when the clown Johnson will grace us with his views on EU in or out. Maybe in his Monday column?

Boris will do what is best for Boris. He has to back the winning side if he wants to become PM. I think he will remain non committal for as long as he can but one of his future rivals, Teresa May is on the remain side.
Decisions, decisions.

We are insistently told the Brexit campaign is not xenophobic in outlook, and yet its leader-in-waiting cannot even offer an unambiguous stance on a predictable situation.

It not just about UKIP anymore, or at least it should not be. Farage is starting very poorly indeed. You can see what the infighting was all about.

Looks like Petrie is going to get the breaking story of Cameron's EU speech.

I wonder if she bothered to prep before the show today or did her usual flick through the Express on the bus in from Fulham.

Nice idea!

People who use forums to attack other posters instead of discussing the subject matter itself are usually those with little of interest to say.

Petrie currently yelling about staying in the EU without being able to cite one shred of evidence to support what she is yelling - 'Listen with Mother' politics.

I agree, she's woefully ill-prepared. Also, she's very painful to listen to, the way she emphasises several words per sentence. The Lisa Aziz affliction.

Outside of London and the Home Counties, I'm not sure whether Boris welds that much influence amongst the undecided voters.

If he backs a Brexit, he can kiss his dreams of ever becoming PM good-bye.

Johnson is somewhat of an enigma. Beneath that bumbling and clownish exterior, lies a very intelligent man who knows how to play the politics game but when I see the shambles he has made of the London Mayoralty - lack of intervention in Tube strikes, congestion caused by the cycle superhighway, redundant water cannons, pointless Garden Bridges etc I just want to roll my eyes! And btw how well do you think he is doing as a serving MP for his constituents in Uxbridge? He makes even George Galloway look like a hard working MP for Bradford West.

CC Caught the end of a report on Sky News about the cat killings but did not get the details. Have they caught the lunatic yet?
