You are right that David Cameron making serious false allegations against anyone should be covered, but the issue was especially important because of the Muslim aspect to it. Many people have long suspected that David Cameron is a closet racist, and occasionally he has a slip and we see what the real Cameron is like. Nick covered the story in a fair manner as he does all stories. For people to criticise him for covering Muslim stories when Muslims are leading the news agenda is strange in my opinion as the Breakfast show is meant to be a news-based and topical show so to suggest that Nick shouldn't cover news stories falling into a certain category (Muslims-based) amounts to requesting censorship in my opinion.

What a load of tripe. Ferrari certainly isn't "a dinosaur", particularly as he presents a daily news show which requires him to be knowledgeable on almost all aspects of current events and developments. He also uses Twitter, a very recent technological phenomenon. To suggest he is "a dinosaur" is as ridiculous as it is untrue.
Ferrari is entertaining at times in his show, but that is because of his excellent sense of humour, quick wit, his funny opinionated asides and some of the stingers of questions and responses he gives callers and guests.
He didn't "write fluff for years". He was the sub-editor of The Sun for most of the time he was working at the paper and although he did write for The Sun's infamous Bizarre column for a while, that doesn't make him a bad person of have any bearing or relevance to his broadcasting abilities.
Ferrari is not "a mouthpiece". He says what he thinks and admits when he is wrong. If you want mouthpieces, perhaps you'd better try a different station because you're certainly not getting one on LBC from 7am-10am. You're getting a stand up man with honest opinions who stands by what he says but also isn't afraid to alter his views if convinced to.
I find your suggestion that he "talks fluff" very ironic and hypocritical considering many of your own posts.

Over 20 Labour councillors were suspended for anti-Semitic remarks. We should give the PM and Fallon the benefit of the doubt and say they were mistaken about the Imam based on what they had been told by advisors (although obviously there are theories about racial prejudices).
20 Labour councillors being suspended is not a misunderstanding. That's a serious problem. Plus, Jeremy Corbyn has felt the need to launch a full investigation, which I think itself highlights the deep-rooted prejudices within the Labour party which are gradually being outed.
I think Nick was right here, whilst I think the PM is a disgrace for describing the Imam in that way, the anti-Semitism issue is far more widespread across Labour and also potentially far more electorally damaging.
