One of the questions JOB raises frequently is whether this is a big issue for people
because the media/some politicians raise it so frequently in the terms that they do, rather than the other way around as you put it. It's the chicken and egg question.
I don't know the answer (although like most things, I suspect it's at neither of the two extremes), but I do think it's a valid question to raise, and I'm glad that at least someone is asking it. I don't hear that question from most other areas of the media, and certainly not from LBC, except JOB and Nick Abbot.
I heard the first 90 mins of JOB this morning. I think he sounded passionate, but measured in that period, as did most of the callers.
I posted earlier about the 'grain of sand' caller, and I think that analogy was spot on.
