It was only a week or so ago that James O'Brien told us there was too much hate on the radio. He simply has no sense of self-awareness as well as a lack of manners.

Have just tuned in to Cristo. While the Orlando shootings are so, so sad, I do question Cristo's decision to read out the names, ages and job titles of every victim. Of course, the victims of atrocities deserve to be remembered and respected but this is not good radio. He has just apologised for 'monotonous broadcasting' though so at least he acknowledges his self-indulgence.

Thomas Mair has now been charged with the murder of Jo Cox.
But why is his first appearance at Westminster Magistrates Court in London and not somewhere in West Yorkshire?

I question his whole programme. After Nick Abbot quite rightly said we shouldn't discuss the MP killing and why he did it and stopped people from making assumptions, Cristo went on about far right and mental health and very childishly said he wasn't going to name the killer (also the Orlando killer). Is he in a Harry Potter film?
His voice booms out on the radio, he is unprofessional and beyond stupid.

One of Shelagh's callers, yesterday, commented that she no longer listens to JO'B due to his sometime nastiness to his callers !!

She, very flustered, refuted that - saying that his show was intelligent & challenging, with no nastiness involved.

She obviously doesn't listen very often

Can't find a definitive answer but it seems because the anti terrorism police are involved and possible terrorism connections then Westminster is chosen as I believe he will be in custody in Paddington.
