From Google.

noun: blah-blah

1. used to refer to something which is boring or without meaningful content.
"talking all kinds of blah to him"
Yeah I get it. You don't think that there is hateful and toxic rhetoric and from a LBC presenter one of the biggest culprits.

Thats just.......silly, Harry.
No you will hear the hate this Monday morning at 10 am it often arrives following a weekend of swallowing foie gras and drinking fancy wines.

Enjoyable last hour from Ian Payne this afternoon with an "expert" talking about outer space. He was a bit peeved that there were hardly any women callers but really he should know that they can (for the most part) only talk about shoes and handbags and bitching about other women and stuff like that. The notion of females being the more communicative gender is a false one. This is why LBC and other talk stations find it so difficult to find girlie presenters that are any good.

Anyway, some good chat (thanks to the gents) including the "expert" insisting that we did really go to the moon when everybody knows that it was a fake. Actually, the whole of outer space as it is portrayed to us must be some sort of illusion and it is time that these "astronomers" accepted that and came clean about it.

Eh? I do think there is toxic rhetoric and endless political theorizing from the media, in general, over this sad death. It's really getting on my wick.

What a strange post.
James O'Brien has spent the whole of his broadcasting career urging listeners not to fall for the Right Wing distraction tactics of hate and blame.
But you haven't noticed.

What is Right Wing Hate?
Tune in to any News Bulletin on any station today.
BiB. The extremes of both Right & Left Wing politics meet round the same corner figuratively speaking. Neither are innocent of hatred!

Extract from Wiki.

"The horseshoe theory in political science asserts that rather than the far left and the far right being at opposite and opposing ends of a linear political continuum, they in fact closely resemble one another, much like the ends of a horseshoe. The theory is attributed to French writer Jean-Pierre Faye."

I am in bits watching Joe Cox's sister Kim speak to the crowd in Birstall. 100% down to earth Yorkshire wisdom.

I am just not in the mood for Lucy Beresford or any other Comedy Radio.

I take a different slant on Harry's post. Personally I'm not jealous of J O'B and he used to be one of my favourite presenters. However, his constant smugness seems more in harmony with someone who enjoys life's luxuries whilst pontificating 'alternative' views. If he'd ever lived in the real world and experienced the rough end of the stick I doubt, in all honesty, he'd be so ready in expounding his self-aggrandising theories.

Do tell at what level of income holding alternative views, whatever that means starts?

I don't completely disagree with you. But there is nothing wrong with someone who is comfortable sticking up for those who aren't.

I'm coming from an explicit money angle Mr Bangla, just how 'real life' experiences can change your mind-set.

If you are coming from an explicit money angle then you must have a figure in mind.

Fair enough G.F.M. but they do have to be convincing, I'm not sure with J O'B.

Maybe this is an example of hate rhetoric that JOB was talking about.
It's not from Britain First but from a member of that nice Mister Farage's political party. The party that is so loved by some at LBC and many of their listeners.

That should have read, I'm not coming from an explicit money angle. Apologies.
Guaranteed at this time of night I make mistakes.

Bangla I really worry about you. Without being distasteful over recent happenings, what would be your reaction if Farage was bouncing down the street towards you?

Ask him why he is on a space hopper.
Nothing to say about the link I posted, just some remark about concern about my welfare.
Common trait on here, attack the messenger if the message is not to your liking.

It's dated 19th April. You had to sit and search that far back and that;s the best you can come up with? You should just have Googled Polly Toynbee to quote examples of genuine vitriol.

There's unpleasantness on all sides. The confusing thing at the moment is to know whether judgement is being made about actual political parties or the opposing sides in the referendum campaign, which are a mixture of both. The strange thing is the view that because Jo Cox's killer appears to be an extreme right winger, he must be a Brexit supporter. So that would put him in the same camp as Dennis Skinner and Frank Field.

Has Toynbee advocated shooting anyone?
This is IMO a prime example of hate speech from a UKIP member.
Now you can complain about the date or try and deflect somewhere else but you can't make it disappear as much as you'd like to.
Hope JOB continues to follow this line for it is about time that some face up to the possible consequences of their words and actions.

The only reason someone will attack the messenger, is because the poster is aligning themselves. I.e. the common excuse, nothing to do with me.
