Well you just carry on deluding yourself if you choose. Theresa May went on record this am saying 'full Brexit'. Gove is certainly up for full Brexit. Any compromise or back-pedalling then I would expect riots on the streets. People aren't in the mood to tolerate politicians telling them whoppers of that magnitude any longer .

not going to happen. the brexit will be painted as a brexit but the renegotiations will pretty much ensure theres very little change. all you'll get is the idea of control of immigration.

the far right (edl bf nf combat 18 which form part of ukips support base) will not be allowed to create the war that they are desperate for.

Which particular back-pedalling are you talking about ? On the money for the NHS ? Or on immigration coming down ?

I don't know who this new presenter is (now) but there is no chance that he can replace Nick Abbott..........not even if there is Secular Stagnation.

Farage must be better qualified than any of the negotiators to advise on Brexit. He's been an MEP for 17 years. He knows Brussels and it's ways inside out - and he's had 17 years to think about leaving and how best to do it.

Farage lol why bother. Best to go direct to the WTO and save on his salary.

Farage sole purpose at the EU parliament 3as to disrupt and to claim as much money as he could pocket. If you think that qualifies him to negotiate for the UK then god help us. He can't even negotiate with his own party.

Never mind.
I suppose LBC could offer BoJo the job as a phone-in host.
They've already given gigs to Farage, Hopkins and Galloway. Why not the Blond Bombshell? He'd certainly be a hit on the audience ratings.

He certainly doesn't need the money, and he's neither a clear speaker nor a clear thinker.
I also feel pretty sure that he doesn't care a hoot about 'ordinary' people.
So it's a resounding 'No, thank you' from me.

I've only dipped into bits of it, but it seems OK to me.
Very informative, in fact.
Just to add, James O'B seems very relaxed, which is commendable, as it must be a tricky event to MC.
Welcome to the thread!

I thought Michael Gove was better than that. Truly Macbeth and his lady that pair.

That was an amazing claim by Ian Collins moments ago. (Re Corbyn)
Was it libellous?

Say he what?

He said that what Corbyn wants to do is to stand up in Parliament and say that Tony Blair is guilty of war crimes and must be taken to the Hague.

Without checking a recording, that is exactly what he said.

No, "Speak to Sadiq" will alternate each month as a feature in the shows of James O'Brien, Shelagh Fogerty, Iain Dale and Nick Ferrari. So Ferrari did partially get the gig, but will only present "Speak to Sadiq" every four months.

If I had a quid for every time I've heard this, I'd be a rich man.
It won't happen.

Yep, nothing was said that others haven't been levelling at Blair for ages. And I heard someone on the news earlier suggest that Jezza is only hanging on to put the post Chilcott boot in. I think Corbyn and his puppet masters have bigger things to worry about than Lbc presenters. 😀
